NCC Patterson Creek Park Bistro — Restaurant in Ottawa

Lovely lunch spot with a wide selection of sandwiches, pastries and drinks to chose from. The BLT sandwich I ordered was delicious & I loved the Iced Earl Grey tea as well. It had sweet floral undertones and did not taste like earl grey but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I was unimpressed by the customer service and the maintenance of the patio on the day I went. Within entering the bistro, I felt that I was expected to know exactly what I wanted to order in that moment. I requested the table be sanitized as there were remnants of food and dust on the one available table by the lake and the worker said that she had just cleaned the tables, but would do so again. We were not provided napkins with our food and the napkin dispenser was empty, so once again we had to request for napkins. I felt bad bothering the workers because it seemed as if they did not want to be there. But aside from that, it was a pleasant experience and the scenic view...

This is such a fantastic idea. Nice place to stop by when walking through the park or on the canal. Variety of options to choose from. Many different baked goods and drinks.

They even have ice cream from the Merry Dairy. Options for dairy free too which is a plus. I definitely recommend trying the toasted coconut ice cream, tastes just like a coconut cream pie. No cones for the ice cream but it comes in a cup.

Plenty of seating available and there are bathrooms too. Shaded seating and seating in the sun right beside the canal.

Prices are good too. Parking is available on the street nearby. I believe it was a 2 hour limit but we didn't...

Was super excited to try this bistro beautifully located next to the creek and canal. Despite not having (I think) a full kitchen, they have a pretty large menu of food and drinks! Lots of local pastries available. No prices listed on any of the food menus/pastry labels. I ordered a BBQ panini, butter tart, lemon cookie and lemonade. Panini was decent, lemonade was great! Pastries left something to be desired. My butter tart was lacking filling lol (less than half filled) and the lemon cookie was lacking lemon flavour. Wouldn’t come back here just for the food, but you’re probably coming for the incredible...
