I am blown away by the positive reviews this place has received after the experience I had when I came here with my husband on our date night. I’m not someone who would usually leave a bad review but this was so bad I felt it was my duty to the community to give you a heads up! When we arrived no one else was here which was already a huge sign how the night would go! First we received complimentary salsa and chips which was exciting until we noticed all of our chips were burnt and when we received our waters the waiter let us know the water was drinkable but the ice cubes where questionable?? After letting in the super friendly cat inside that insisted we’d pet him throughout our meal, which is not something you usually see in a restaurant, I ordered the carne asada which Our Waiter then explained he didn’t speak Spanish so I let him know it was the beef brisket and my husband ordered the Mexican platter! so he basically didn’t know what was on his menu! We received our meals 3 minutes later and where excited to eat! I first noticed that I received chicken instead of beef but since I was hungry I thought it’s all good Im okay with it! Firstly I tried the beans, which where the worst cold beans I’ve ever had and then tried the rice which was cold, soggy and smelt like it was made two days ago! The chicken tasted like subway precooked chicken that had been warmed up on the grill; it was the worst chicken I’ve had in my life! I ended up eating two tortillas with their Guacamole that was mainly tomatoes! My husband didn’t enjoy his meal either and made me taste his Chile Relleno, battered peppers, which tasted soggy and like it was made ahead of time. Usually Chile relleno is my favourite but this night I almost puked eating it! I ended up taking everything home because I’m not much to cause a scene. I know I should have asked for my $20 bucks in return! Afterwards my husband took me to Burger King to get some food inside me! Worst food...

Honestly im so disapointed - Ive beem here like 20 times and it just gets worse and worse... My 1st review was 5 stars! But honestly ive had to change my review because it's that bad

I got sat at table that was filthy - and they never wiped it off

I was all smiles - and all i got in return was scowls - everyone just seemed miserable

I got served chips and 'salsa' - but really it was just a bowl of tomatoes

I go up to the server and ask if they have salsa - he says "what do you mean?" And i say, "what do i mean? You served me a bowl of chopped up tomatoes I would like some salsa" he says, "you mean spicey?" And i say "ya"

Then they tried to white me out - and they bring me the spiciest "salsa" they had- i had to mix it with that bowl of tomato they gave me

Then my meal comes - 3 hard shell tacos, rice and beans - salsa being served on top of the tacos... So you do have salsa?

Beans - were old, burnt and dry, you could tell they were the end of the batch

Rice - not mexican at all - it was like rice and chicken broth - just seemed cheap and mass produced - no flavor, no onion, no garlic, no tomato paste, no carotts, no peas, no cumin

I also asked for a water - which they made sure to hold back on after they delivered that spicey salsa to me

I dont think ill be back - And i dont think ill be recommending this restuarant to...

Turned me off from Mexican food for a while. Absolutely disgusting food, service and atmosphere. We walked up the restaurant smelt like someone took a huge dump in there. I looked around not busy which. Guy sat us down sorta it was a bit weird and awkward didn't know where to go sat us at a table for 14 and there was 7 of us.. Then we ordered. I waited forever for my bulldog margarita. No ice in it what so ever I had to ask for a side of ice as I chocked it down it was so gross. Our food arrived and he got our order wrong. I got the enchiladas and the chicken smelt old and I felt like I shouldn't eat it. No one came around to ask how our food was. I asked the server to take the tacos off that he brought that we didn't order and he argued with me and gave me attitude. Then the waitress came asked if I was done the full plate of food I had and I said yes it was terrible didn't say anything to me paid $50 for the worst food service and atmosphere. OH YA and when I was waiting for the washroom the waitress was in there and stunk up the bathroom so bad I was about to barf. Don't think she washed her hands.
