BRODO Kitchen — Restaurant in Penticton

We have had Brodo Kitchen cater both of our daughters' weddings and both times we and our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. The first time was 2016 in Summerland and I didn't know Brodo but a friend recommended them and we were so pleased with the service and the food. Chef Paul prepared the wedding dinner at the venue as well as the rehearsal dinner at his restaurant the night before.

When we were planning the second wedding, I reached out to Paul as soon as I had a date and he agreed to work with us again. He designed both menus for us.

This past September 2, 2023 the wedding was in Armstrong, on a hay farm (no real venue). The highway was closed, but Paul and crew got there and once again, the food was absolutely incredible. First we had a charcuterie spread that was beautiful and so tasty, and then we had dinner. The photographer said 'best wedding food ever!', and she's eaten at many weddings. I had people coming up to me all night... 'That's the best food we've ever had'. 'My husband doesn't eat potato salad, but he ate that one.' My nephew.. 'I might not remember everything about this wedding, but I'll remember the food!.' He's still talking about it.

I can't recommend Brodo Kitchen, Paul and his team, highly enough. The communication, service, organization, flavours and pairings that he creates just can't be beat. It is expected that diet restrictions and allergies are accommodated but Paul went out of his way to create special dishes for those guests that weren't able to eat the generally prepared menu.

We have also been to the restaurant for lunch and again, very pleased with the food. We live in Vernon and if we lived closer I would visit Brodo...

We had Brodo cater our wedding, and I genuinely lost count of how many guests came up to tell me how incredible the food was. From even the pickiest eaters, everyone was blown away by the flavors, the presentation, and how beautifully everything complemented each other. Honestly, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

From day one, Brodo was an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped us create a menu we were genuinely excited about within our budget and were always professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. They made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.

Not only was the food a hit, but the team’s presence and service on the day made the experience even better. My husband said afterward that there’s no other catering company he’d ever recommend to anyone else again other than Brodo! Choosing them was one of the best decisions we made, they helped make an already perfect day even more unforgettable.

Came here yesterday, we were looking for something unique and as we walked down main st downtown Penticton, we saw the restaurant. We yelped it to see if it is worth the visit.

So we turned around and headed to that direction. First thing you notice is the entrance. Very raw, is what i can describe it. Ambiance was quite minimalist sort of industrial.

Now let us get with the food. 3 focus, soups, sandwich, salads.

Decided to have a angus beef chilil, and the tuna melt with a side order of cornbread. The tuna melt, don't really have alot of it but this one i can say probably best if not second best i have had in my life. The chili was flavourful, not use to actual beef chunks but it worked, and partnered up with the cornbread something to consider with you come here.

Finally the staff was nice, considerate and helpful as i asked questions and answered with delight.
