Triple O's — Restaurant in Penticton

BEST BURGERS IN TOWN!!! This is a mini White Spot restaurant (quick service restaurant) that offers a few seats to dine in, but this is where I do the 'drive- thru' and I've got my order in 5 minutes or less, piping hot and tempting to eat in the car before I get on the way back home or to the beach or wherever dinner is planned.. I've eaten at both White Spot restaurants and I have to say, the burgers here are juicier and filled with Triple-0 sauce oozing from all sides. Always with their signature dill pickle slice on top. If you've never had a legendary burger with Triple-0 sauce, you're missing out! Do try! The deep-fried potato chips, whether regular potato or sweet potato, are delicious and crispy on the outside, tender inside. I cannot go here without ordering their classic deep-fried onion rings! Also the best in town--very thick cut and crispy--you won't be disappointed. They offer an array of burgers, single or platter to include fries and a drink of your choice. Add-ons, sides, the best hand-scooped milkshakes, and much more. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Indoor dining is limited but clean and lively, being situated on the corner of Eckhardt and Vees Drive with a gas station as well, so very busy in summer months. Location is prime and it's next to the Casino and all the entertainment venues, including the SOEC (South Okanagan Entertainment Center), hockey venues, the Aquatic Center, etc. Just minutes from the Okanagan Lake beach as well. You won't be disappointed!

*NOTE: Due to Covid-19 pandemic, I hadn't patronized this establishment since March 2020. Now into August, with PPE and new safety measures, I decided to pick up a couple of platters. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to see a few inside workers not wearing their masks (propped under their chins) and only one was wearing gloves (at the order window). BEWARE! I dropped to 4 stars for this, maybe should be less. Not wearing proper, mandatory PPE could cause infection, which ultimately could cause death. PPE must be taken seriously. Not going back here until owners/managers enforce proper...

We are from out of town and always look forward to grabbing some food on our way home, but today was a first for me. We got in line with 2 cars ahead of us and waited about almost 20 minutes before we got to order. When the girl came on the speaker we were only told she would be with us in 5 minutes. We ordered two meals; chicken fingers and a legendary combo with no cheese. When we got to the cashier we told her they should put a sign up about the long waits and all we got was "we got busy and we have no signs". Not even a sorry for the wait, and she was not friendly at all. We paid for our food and then waited another 5 minutes until we received it, so it was about 27 minutes total. When we parked somewhere to eat I realized I had cheese on my burger when I asked for no cheese. I never write reviews, but if your going to make people wait almost half an hour in line, and charge pretty good money for fast food, you could at least be friendly to the customers and apologize for making them wait. You might not be able to control the wait, but you can control...

I ordered two meals to go through the drive thru ..sat in my vehicle a good 15 minutes while other individuals ahead of me waited in line for their orders. When i finally got to the take out window and confirmed the order the gentleman dropped the debit machine.. after picking it up he struggled to reconnect it all the while cursing at it under his breath. Then he was not able to reconnect it.. now i had wasted over half an hour and still no food..and that explains why the truck in front of me had left without any food. after chatting with his manager he demanded i pay in cash because their machine was no longer working..something they could have told me and the others before we lined up and ordered. not having any cash on me and by that time no longer interested in eating food from a place where people drop things on the floor and handle it and then handle food without washing their hands and after looking in the window of the drive through decided debit machine or not would never eat there as it looked unsanitary....
