Wonderful place for breakfast or brunch! If you want a charming bistro a little off the beaten tourist path but still very close to all the sights, and at a very reasonable price, this is your gem. My husband got an omelette that was beautifully cooked and accompanied by roasted potatoes, toast, and a mini smoothie. I wanted something healthy so ordered the fresh fruit plate and could not have been more pleasantly surprised when I got an enormous plate filled with every fruit—cantaloupe, watermelon, orange, grapefruit, grapes, strawberries, pineapple, raspberries, even kiwi! It also came with toast and I highly recommend the thick white bread slathered in delicious butter. The coffee was really good and came with the breakfast. Service was def leisurely paced, but we were seated outside on the patio and were in no rush. If you were so inclined, they had a great menu of mimosas and bloody Mary’s too. If I’d stayed longer in Quebec, I probably would have gone there for breakfast every morning!...

We started with a rich and flavorful cheese fondue, followed by a perfectly cooked steak with potatoes and a beautifully seasoned fish with fresh vegetables. To top it all off, the crème brûlée was divine, smooth, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Our server was incredibly friendly, and once he realized we spoke English, he kindly engaged with us in English, making us feel even more welcome. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, making the whole experience even more special.

Read moreWe found this restaurant along our walk exploring the city. Looking to get away from the tourist center dining and more towards where locals would eat which might involve using my rusty French. Although, I have a feeling we’d to walk very far to get away from that but Hey don’t ruin my illusion!
The quaint restaurant has a nice terrace and we sat right on the skirt of it. The wood interior wasn’t so loud and looked like everyone was having a good time. I went with something decadent not usually I would order but I’m on holiday darn it. The Rillette de Canard to start was a delicious start to the meal. Duck Confit while my friend ordered the veal. It was a really nice meal. Casual. Relaxing. Away from the tourist restaurants...
