First things first, the portion sizes are huge, and it's not like you get a giant plate of mediocre food either, it was all pretty good. I ordered the wild boar burger, which if I didn't know it was boar I would not have been able to distinguish from a beef burger, not gamey like other will meat or overly fatty like pork can be. Fries were hand cut and properly done. My wife got the nachos and it was huge, layers and broiled with each layer. It's kinda an easy dish at most places, but they took time and put in effort. The beers are made in house and everything we tried was excellent. First Friday of the month they do a special keg and since it was cinco de mayo they had a lime raddler infused with jalapeno tequila. Not an everyday beer but it was something special. To top it off, they pipped the keg in (with actual bagpipes) like it was the haggis on Robbie Burns day.

For $26.59, you can get a boar burger with a side of fries at @bushwakkerbrewpub . That’s before tip but with taxes included. Is the burger expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Not really. The bun was fresh and tasty, the boar burger was decent. However the patty literally was falling apart as I ate it. One would think maybe that’s because of the type of meat? However my coworker’s beef patty with his briar burger was also falling apart. He actually ate his burger with a fork and knife while I used my hands to pick up the fallen pieces. The patty itself needed more salt, less hand work and potentially more egg yolk to keep it together. And possibly, a night in the refrigerator to solidify the patty shape. What was really delicious was the fire-roasted pepper relish. That had the most flavour. The patty had some flavour, although I could barely tell it was boar. The fries were awesome! I appreciate the use of seasonings along with the white and malt vinegar on the table. The sheer size of the mound of fries was appreciated as well. I probably wouldn’t order a burger from here again unless they fix their patties. Especially not for that price. So for $26.59 ish you get to eat a burger with a knife and fork!

I was recently in Regina on a work trip for the first time and I was looking for a local place to try, after reading good things about Bushwakker and taking a look at the menu, it was decided. I came specifically for the Wild Boar burger and was not disappointed! The patty was sooo flavorful and not at all gamey. I wasn't sure what to expect but I loved it and I'm looking forward to having it again the next time I'm in town. I also took an order of the pecan pie back to my hotel and was blown away by how delicious it was. The pie itself AND the whipped cream. I'm not sure if the cream was homemade but it definitely tasted like it was! Customer service was great, even with it being a busy evening. Parking was a bit hard to find. I definitely can't wait to come back though

Man, sometimes I just scratch my head and wonder, why didn’t I come here years ago? Okay Regina people, I know you are all familiar with this amazing brewpub, but to those that haven’t visited, here’s my two cents. First off, easy to find and tons of parking. Can’t miss the building either, it’s monumental. The pub has that come for the drinks, but you better try the food, vibe. And the Wakker burger I had, all huge and juicy, was delicious, but it was the cheese and pepper soup that informed my taste buds that these guys are serious about the food. So on that note, I highly recommend Bushwakker for its drinks, food, atmosphere and pleasant staff.

My partner and I go to Regina quite often to visit family, and I’ve noticed this placed appeared a few times on my search for a good place to eat. Let me tell you! This place will not disappoint, they have a large choice of beverages and a good menu selection. I’ve ordered the bushwakker burger, fries & side of gravy. Everything was homemade, burger was seasoned very well, fries were cooked to perfection, crispy and served hot. The gravy was also quite tasty. One thing that stood out was this place’s atmosphere - Charming and a great sense of community. Will definitely be coming back.

All Local, is this businesses theme. With local background music, local art and writers corner, brewery on site and also carries a Saskatchewan Wine from Living Sky Winery in Perdue SK, go figure. Live music twice a week and of course, local. Very good blended beer, black & tan and red & black and also had strait porter. All excellent. Taps with 26 seasonals and 12 year round beer taps with 10 ciders. The food, prairie pizza and wings (porter / lemon pepper) were very good. Best homegrown brewery experience in a long time. More than 5 stars. Thanks ........
