Went here with my family within the first few months of this restaurant being opened. My dad ordered 2 pieces of chicken with spaghetti. My dad's spaghetti had a long strand of hair in it. We brought it to one of the staff's attention and one of the supervisors stated they would replace the whole meal with a new one as they took the spaghetti with the strand of hair with them. When my dad got the replacement, he was given pancit palabok instead of spaghetti and he didn't get the 2 pieces of chicken either. It was hard to get a hold of staff as they were so busy (which is not an excuse as customer service is very important) so we had to get a different staff's attention. We had to tell this staff the whole situation from the beginning plus the fact that my dad got the wrong meal replacement which he was very allergic to due to one of the ingredients in it. A staff brought the 2nd replacement and got the spaghetti right, but again, the 2 pieces of chicken that we originally ordered with the spaghetti weren't replaced. For the 3rd time, we got one of the staff's attention. We can see from behind the counter the annoyance in the supervisor's face as the staff explained it to her. A few minutes after, a man who appeared to be the manager, came out to ask what all of this was about. He appeared annoyed, which was obvious from the tone of his voice as well. We explained the whole situation from the beginning, to which he asked if we just added the 2 pieces of chicken in the chicken bucket we had ordered for takeout - which is such a blatant accusation that took all 5 of us aback!!! We said that they could review the camera if they want. He left after, without any apology nor did he say any plan or intervention for the whole thing. We were so disgusted by the whole experience. As we were getting ready to leave, a staff brought the 2 pieces of chicken out. All in all, a terrible experience. We haven't gone back since. In addition to all of these, the...
Read moreAs a self-proclaimed fried chicken enthusiast, I’ve long heard the hype surrounding Jollibee’s fried chicken—often hailed as the gold standard in fast food poultry. With expectations high, I visited one of their locations and opted for the drive-thru experience to keep things simple and efficient.
The drive-thru service was smooth and well-organized. With only one car ahead of me, the wait time was minimal, and placing my order was straightforward. I decided to start with a modest sample: a three-piece order of their spicy Chickenjoy, paired with their signature gravy.
Let’s begin with the chicken. The spice level was notably bold—I’d rate it a 7 out of 10 on the heat scale, and that’s coming from someone who enjoys a good kick. For those with a lower spice tolerance, I’d recommend proceeding with caution. The skin was delightfully crispy, well-seasoned, and the meat inside remained moist and thoroughly cooked. No issues on that front—Jollibee delivers on the texture and flavor.
The gravy, served warm and in generous portions (one per piece), was a standout. Rich, savory, and perfectly suited to the chicken, it elevated the meal rather than overpowering it. As someone who appreciates gravy as more than just a side note, this attention to detail was appreciated.
However, I did note one concern: upon reaching the drive-thru window, there was a noticeable smell of used fryer oil or possibly an unclean grease trap. While this didn’t translate to the food itself—which thankfully lacked any off-putting oily aroma—it did slightly affect the overall impression of the kitchen’s cleanliness.
Overall, I’d give this first tasting experience a solid 7/10. The food quality met expectations, and the drive-thru service was efficient. That said, I look forward to a future dine-in visit and trying other menu offerings to get a fuller picture of what Jollibee truly...
Read moreDon't bother going here if you don't have a vehicle.
They're "short staffed" so you can't go in and order. My husband and I were traveling across the country, as we are moving, and we had a trailer on our vehicle. We explained that we aren't sure we'd be able to clear the drive thru. They said they won't be able to do anything even though I explained and showed them the trailer. They were willing to deny service despite the special circumstances. I asked if I could even walk through the drive thru and that was denied. So my husband took a walk and decided we could just give it a try, and just our darn luck, we cleared the drive thru just to get subpar food and a beautiful nail stuck in our tire! Wonderful!
Still over 2000 kilometers left on our trip and we now have to patch our tire and hope it holds until we get to our destination and THEN have to pay for a new tire.
Some may want to say, "well you made the choice to still go through, that's on you". And sure, to each their own. But if you, as a business, fail to be understanding and accommodating to special circumstances, then you are poor business owners.
To Edna, the manager, do better. Train your staff to think on their feet a little better and perhaps do their best to accommodate special...
