I am beyond furious with Prince of Wales ,Regina Mcdonald's specifically to Dent or Dan, the morning Vietnamese supervisor, "supervisor". I could not get his name. I asked and he was mumbling. I let pass the unintentional occurrences such as waiting in line for more than 30 minutes or receiving a frozen burritos; In addition, the unfriendly welcome from the time I ordered until I received my orders. I always feel they are annoyed because I ordered something like I am taking their precious time. This, this is not acceptable at all. It was intentional. I was pondering if it is because I am Asian or I look like someone they can bully or make fun of. It is still unacceptable.
Today, June 06, 2022, around 5:55 AM. I ordered a large sugar-free iced coffee using the discount code 2727 from the Mcdonald's app during slow time. After ordering, I was Instructed to go the first window. I was not aware that the code is only for non-flavoured iced coffee. The crew informed my of my bill of $2.69 after discount. I was like $2.69 and replied to him I thought It was a $1 something.
So, he was trying to figure out how to make the price to $1.00 and he eventually gave up and asked for the supervisor. The supervisor from the front of the store, carrying my iced coffee with a weird blue plunger looking lid, came to the first window and helped the crew. Seconds after they finished pressing keys on the till, the supervisor informed me he will give me the flavoured-iced coffee for $1.00 this time but the code should be only for non-flavoured iced coffee. This was not clear with the app. It says any size iced coffee for a $1.00. Then, he gave me the iced coffee from the first window. The orders usually received from the second window. I was confused seeing the iced coffee with the weird looking lid and I said to myself maybe they changed lids for the summer.After receiving the coffee, I drove away from the store. After minutes of driving, I stopped at a parking lot to drink the coffee. I was trying to put the straw and it was not going threw. This is when I realized. It was not the lid. The actual lid was underneath. After looking at under the blue lid. I saw dried liquid stain or something. I felt disgusted.
I returned to the store around 6:00 AM, drove to the second window where a crew greeted me. I wanted to speak to the supervisor, who I presumably the one who made my iced coffee. Therefore, I asked for him. When he came to the window, second window, I asked why did he put the the dirty lid of something on my iced coffee cup. He replied it was a mistake. They were only two people working. I got aggregated. There were more than two people when I ordered the coffee. Second, I am certain It was not mistake. I worked at Mcdonalds. We have a stack of lids for drinks where we grab "one by one 'and put it on the cup. Then I also worked late nights where I give drinks and never ever in my life I experience anyone giving drinks the way this supervisor gave it. However, this time we witnessed one staff member walk from the kitchen to the front with customers to grab a drink without gloves on, and then as they returned to the back, grabbed some eggs with their bare hand and place the egg chunks back onto the wrap.
