Very unprofessional front desk clerks (August 26th 2022 @ 5:00pm). We had the displeasure of dealing with a “gentleman” named Lane, who was nothing but disrespectful to my husband and myself. Our room was booked under my husbands name, but paid with a company credit card. Lane laughed in my husbands face and told us it was not a company credit card, and would not let us check in (we have a small family business, it’s what we use for our company card). We had to switch method of payments. But when my husband came out to tell me I went inside to speak to Lane, he then changed his story when I told him my last name was the same as the one on the card, but he couldn’t bother to check himself to see there was more than one person for the room. And gave attitude when I asked him about it. I asked for a refund although I’m sure Lane would have changed our payment back to the other credit card. But his big headed ego turned me off. When I asked to speak to a manager her scoffed in my face, and was very vague when one would be in. I’m shocked there’s no evening manager to speak to when problems arise. I requested to have a manager call us (we will see if that happens). I think maybe Front desk, dealing with customers isn’t Lanes calling. Our company travels out west a lot and we will make sure to steer clear of the best western chain. Thankfully you’re located close to a holiday inn, their staff have clearly been trained properly in customer service and have been...

Checking in at 11:30 PM on February 3rd, I had the privilege of being greeted by the most unapproachable, unfriendly front desk experience imaginable. The lady at the desk truly mastered the art of making guests feel unwelcome—no smile, no eye contact, and not even a hint of professional courtesy. Just cold, clipped responses, as if my mere presence was a personal inconvenience. Hospitality at its finest!
The room itself added to the charm. The bathroom fan? Just for decoration, apparently. The water? So hard that soap becomes part of your skin whether you like it or not. And the overall scent of the hotel? Let’s just say it carries the weight of many, many years of ‘character.’
Oh, and the pricing? A fun little rollercoaster. Started at $154, then jumped to $179, and finally landed at $205. No explanation—just part of the magic of staying here, I suppose.
And let’s not forget the pool. Haven’t even seen it yet, but based on everything else, I already have a bad feeling about it. Probably freezing, uncomfortable, or just plain disgusting. And of course, the hours suck too—because why wouldn’t they?
If you’re looking for a hotel where the front desk makes you feel like an unwanted guest the moment you walk in, this is the perfect place. Five stars for delivering an experience I won’t soon...
Read moreThe worst experience we have had at a hotel. The only friendly staff were housekeeping - all smiling and sweet. The front desk females had attitude and no idea about guest services and how you should greet/treat customers. Male staff were a bit too causal but friendly to some degree when we needed help. It was awkward to walk in, not welcoming. We had a personal baby blanket taken out of the room during housekeeping we assume accidentally. Took me asking a few times and making a big deal about it to get it back. The general manager felt so comfortable entering the room without our permission, they walked in with our privacy sign up, and put the blanket on exactly the bed it went missing from - furthest from the door.(Only we would know which bed) We also noticed weird things moved and put in drawers after that. Very strange and violating. All they had to do was keep the blanket, once found, at front desk instead of entering with privacy sign up. My husband overheard someone taking about us at one point. I mean it was a mess. Other things… The pool needs cleaning and rooms need updating - our bed was broken on the bottoms and one of our kids got scraped walking by the edge by the exposed broken wood. The list goes on. Checking out and going somewhere different for our last 3 nights here as we don’t...
