Our family of 3 was on the final night of a 20 night, multi-stop driving vacation and we were booked at this hotel for one night in room 401. We had stayed at 9 other Hilton properties during this vacation which was a cross Canada trip from Alberta to Quebec. The other Hilton properties were clean, friendly and an overall good value. I did read the recent reviews of the Hampton Inn & Suites on our way to Regina, and thought it an odd occurrence they weren't favourable and that we'd give it a chance. The parking lot was our first hint that it wasn't well maintained. The pavement was very uneven in many places with significant warping, including very large dips in the handicapped stall. Our check-in was fine, but upon exiting the elevator on the 4th floor, noticed the very large, trip-hazard bubbles in the hallway carpets. The electronic room keys didn't work and my husband had to return to the front desk to have this remedied. After gaining access to the room, we did a walk through and noticed it wasn't well maintained at all. The furniture was stained and the wallpaper in the closet was peeling due to a leak in the ceiling. After not getting the cleanest of vibes, I did an inspection of the bed. The top bedspread had orange stains, and the bedsheets had black marks on them as well as what appeared to be a urine stain or some other unknown bodily fluid. The dealbreaker occurred when upon inspecting the bed, I happened to notice a black-ish bug hustle its way across the bedspread. We don't know what it was and we didn't stick around to ask. This was not how our family wanted to end a once in a lifetime vacation across Canada and we decided we'd prefer to drive 7+ hours to sleep in our own beds. Our exit of the hotel continued to give us the heebie-jeebies and we noticed there were a number of creepy crawly bugs all over the windows by the 4th floor stairwell. The stairwell also seemed pretty sketchy and lacked adequate lighting which I'm pretty sure is a safety hazard. I would not recommend this property and I hope that others do not have the same experience that we did. If you do decide to stay here, there is a positive to this property in that the location is excellent and an exit from Regina is readily accessible.

Awful - DO NOT RECOMMEND. Pool and hot tub closed (reason we wanted to stay here). Big deal because we drove 9 hours and told the kids they would get pool time... no mention of pool closure at time of booking, no notification from property, no mention at check-in. When asked front desk about it, the manager wasn't available (apparently manager doesn't want to be bothered on weekends) and staff not allowed to call. On top of all that our room was absolutely disgusting...water damage and BLACK MOLD! Front desk staff smirked when we advised them of the black mold in our room... they didn't care one bit! Besides the big issues we encountered, the hotel needs basic maintenance... it's not very clean and is missing basic things in rooms (no hand soap, family of 4 but only had 2 bath towels, glasses...). Plus all staff need to be trained on customer service... no smiles, no manners, and complete disregard for guest needs. Hampton's 100 percentage satisfaction guaranteed is a joke! Don't bother wasting your money at this place!

I really enjoyed my stay last night, the rooms were clean and updated . The AC (air conditioning) worked perfectly and cooled the room really good . Great window coverings for privacy and making the room dark. The breakfast was okay, what I expected- hot breakfast - coffee, eggs, potatoes , sausages , yogurts, cereals , bananas , bread/ bagles butter cream cheese. and more. The beds were averaged not too comfy buy not so bad for the price of the room. Unfortunately I only have 4 complains: 1.the waffle machine didn't work. 2.most of the eggs were raw. 3.the pool & hot tin were out of service but I got changed the same amount for the hotel. 4.the "view" from the window was really sad into another wall or something (I added it into one of the pictures) . I think I stayed in room 211. Other than that everything was great will definitely stay here again.

Ok this is obviously a very nice hotel I give them props on that. They keep it well cleaned and maintained. But that is where the positive qualities about the hotel stop. I'm writing this while I'm still staying here and hopefully they read this and are aware of there mannerisms and how the treat certain ethnicities or "type" of people. I am a young 29 year old first nations woman. I am not rich and I don't stress like super nice or whatever. I dress casual, sometimes in comfy clothing and obviously dont give off the glamorous vibe as my stay here is a gift from family and friends for the purpose of visiting my fathers grave seeing how he was buried 2 weeks ago near my reserve because I did not go to the funeral and was feeling at the utmost guilt for it which has caused my sobriety to crash. I did not come here to party or to make a mess of your establishment. I am clean, quiet, friendly, and very respectful to the staff who work here despite the dangerously cold responses and treatment I have gotten back by not just one of the staff but ALL I have encountered. I am not over exaggerating or making this up. I have already been feeling very down and DID NOT come here to be made feel out of place or that I dont belong. I DID NOT search out hotels and decide this was as close to a vacation and thinking this was such a beautiful expensive hotel to be made feel like they have to watch me when I am just looking around the hotel and walking down public or people who stay here halls. I have been followed and been accused of the thought of having parties here. I DID invite 2 friends to come stay the night with me while I'm here so I am not alone with my thoughts and they to have had a bad experience with the staff here and staff even the manager made rude comments towards them about us being trouble makers. I am like everyone else who stays here. I am respectful. I have paid to stay here with the intent of getting the same treatment and respect everyone else here gets. I DO NOT wish to stay at this hotel any longer and have the intentions of checking out as soon as i find a healthier environment to be in. I feel bad because my family did put up great money for me to feel at home with a King suite and wanted me to feel spoiled a bit. But I am not happy being here and I will not ever stay here again and I am going to write a review on EVERY review spot there is on different sites so people can read my personal experience staying in this particular Hamptons in East end of Regina. I was not going to write write anything and had the intentions of being quiet but my feelings and my ego have been damaged and hurt just by the actions and the cold treatmeny I have got here. ESPECIALLY BY THE MALE MANAGER here. Isn't this supposed to represent home away from home? Why is it certain types of people or ethnicities get treated in such a manner while they are all smiles and friendly behaviour with others? I truly hope you guys read this review so you can give yourself a attitude adjustment and be helpful and friendly towards people who are like me. Tattooed Pierced First Nation. I am respectable to you. Treat others with the same respect you would like to be treated because you never know what a person is dealing with or what is happening in there life. It isnt to hard to be friendly and make people feel accepted no matter what they look like or what they wear. We Are All Equal In This In The World. So I'm going to end this on a positive note: I will still give recommendation on this hotel due to how beautiful and Clean the environment is. It is quiet and on the perfect end of town. I don't feel endangered and Everything about the King Suite I am currently residing in is absolutely comft. The housekeeping staff do amazing jobs here keepung it the shape it is in. So again thank you for the short ended stay. You will not likely ever...

We stayed at this hotel on July 29/17 and didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were going to the Roughrider game! We arrived 1:00 pm checked in and hauled our luggage in! We had bought 6 Sangrias and my husband and I had one each prior to leaving for the game at 2:00 pm. We did not arrive back to our room until close to midnight therefore we went straight to bed! The next morning as we were garthering our things and our cold drinks from the fridge my husband said there is something not right here! He said we brought in 6 drinks and only had 1each and there are only two full ones left, there are two full cans missing!! When we reported it at checkout Sheila who was checking us out said our staff would never do that here! She totally disregarded it and made us feel like we were being dishonest just to try to get a discount! NOT our intent at all!! She did however check the in and out activity from our room cards but she didn't say anything about it after she checked! Then right after that we sat with a very nice couple at breakfast and they told us they received a call from the staff at a previous stay st the Hampton same location to see if they were in their room, as they wanted to fix their sink the call was at 10:30 pm and they told the staff there was nothing wrong with their sink and that they never called them! Then on Fri the 28th a call was placed by a staff before 1am on To see if they had checked yet?? What was the purpose of the call is our question?? Something is fishy why would a staff member call to see if you are in your room unless their is a motive! We feel violated and no reassurance of any type of investigation! Who would do that? Also if they can do this they probably went thru our luggage as well, how will we ever know! We have nothing to hide but it's a violation of our privacy! Were sick to...
