M’y sister recommended this restaurant. It is a delightful little restaurant. The exterior is very unassuming and you might miss it if you drive by too fast but it’s a wonderful dining experience, and not to be missed. The food is very interesting Vietnamese cuisine with a modern flare and a fusion twist. Everything was fresh and delicious and the combination of varied textures and rich flavours made everything we ordered a delight. The interior is very pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. But the food is really the star of this show. We shared the Duck cold rolls with a hoisin flavoured sauce, then shrimp in rice flakes which were superbly crunchy and bursting with flavour. Then we had a grilled pork on rice noodle squares which was perfectly grilled and tender. (This dish was not listed on the menu but my sister had had it previously and they were able to make it on request). Finally we finished with the salt and pepper shrimp which had a mild heat and paired well with the slightly-sweet rice sticks on the side. Every dish was a wonderful mixture of textures and flavours to tempt the eye and please the palate. Definitely WILL go again! A Little know. Regina Gem that I hope will stay around for...

Chats is a new Vietnamese restaurant in East Regina on Quance near the Walmart Supercenter.

We made a lunch reservation for our first visit, checked the menu online to figure out what we may want to try. The menu option's are well thought out, something for everyone's palette 👍

Excellent client service, met with a welcoming smile, provided with a very nice table by the window.

The server ensured all of our with menu question's were clarified. Paper rolls?🤔🙂

The decor is simply amazing, warm, welcoming, comfortable with some very relaxing Jazz 🎷🎺 music playing in the background. It was an unexpected surprise when comparing it to other restaurants.

The food was delicious and interesting. Roasted duck rice paper rolls. Recommended the rice is small grain unique over all flavour.

Steak Noodle bowl - tender, interesting seasoning and marinade.

Seafood Currie - big bowl, a lot of seafood, seasoned just right, selected the side of rice which I mixed in a spoonful at a time.

A big thanks to the chef in the kitchen for the very tasty food and our server for making our dining experience so nice 👌

We returned, BBQ pork noodle bowl, Jasmine tea and Crispy Calamari to...

How can such a mediocre place be so slammed with business? First time, won’t return.

We waited 45 for first meal to come out (Vietnamese noodle bowl - which was tasty). Took another 10-15 minutes for the remaining two orders to come out. Both Pho. Nothing really wrong with it, but we’ve had Pho many other places and all were better than this. The beef was odd and the Pho is broth, beef, noodles, and a couple small slices of onions. No sauces served with, no bean sprouts, no lime, usually there are more thin sliced onions in Pho. And other places have more flavourful broth.

Atmosphere would be fine if it wasn’t compromised by 3-4 delivery guys standing crowded right behind the table and each waiting 10-30 minutes for their pickups, one poor waitress rushing around and trying to do everything by herself, and constant loud ringing phone or alarms going off in the kitchen.

Other tables were also getting very slow service to receive menus, place orders, and receive food. They appear to be prioritizing takeout orders - probably because they are tracked and scored...
