TacoTime — Restaurant in Regina

Just picked up supper last night from here. The fellow running the till was nice, though the girl preparing food was incredibly miserable. I made a mistake ordering the chicken burrito when i meant to order the chicken ranch as we enjoy rice in our burritos. While the food was in the middle of being assembled, i realized my mistake, so I checked prices, seen it was the same price so i apologized for my confusion, and politely asked if its too late to get rice like in the ranch one, as she had just started putting it together. The girl was shockingly beyond infuriated and was incredibly rude. The way she treated her coworker and her reaction to my innocent mistake was very upsetting. Now she did end up putting rice on my burritos, though she was throwing what id call a silent tantrum. My burritos were poorly thrown together as a result of her slamming stuff around upset, and after witnessing how she behaved it left a sour taste...

I went to TacoTime and ordered 2 very basic chicken tacos (maybe 2-3 bites). The lady asked me if I wanted sour cream in my taco, so of course I said yes! It’s a Mexican place so sour cream seamed like a natural choice..

The two tiny wrapped tacos looked really small on my tray, so I ordered mexi fries. The bill came to 18 dollars!!! I didn’t even feel I could afford a drink.. and wasn’t even offered a combo price.

I sit at the table in the mall feeling ripped off, jipped and saddened for my afternoon - after getting next to no food for almost 20 dollars. Absolute terrible food experience that feels like thievery.

Tried the chili bowl for the first time. Disappointed. $3.99 for a small bowl that was only partially filled and served luke warm. Fail. For only $0.60 more at Tim Hortons I got 40% more chili, piping hot plus a panini bun and butter.

I gave them a second chance after receiving a nice reply from someone at Taco time. Still disappointed. This isn’t even real chili. It’s a scoop of Luke warm taco beef with a spoonful of chili sauce and three kidney beans on top. The tiny bow is only 2/3 filled.
