Chef cong cong 北京小吃街 — Restaurant in Richmond

This is absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever experienced in my life. There is only one person(the owner) working at this food place and his attitude is so bad. After paying the money, we were asking him what time the food will be ready. The guy just ignored us completely and keep receiving money from other customers. When we tried to ask the same question patiently again, he just told us to shut up and said lots of dirty words in Chinese. For example the word starts with letter transferring to English. Even worse, there is an old lady besides us who is ordering food in English, he said: Don’t speak English to me with such a rude attitude. We have waited for even 20 minutes for the food. If the food is nice, then maybe we will forget the bad attitude of the owner. However, we ordered a pancake and two marinated eggs. We were expecting the pancake to taste sweet and chili, or at least it should taste fresh, however, far below my expectation, the pancake tasted s sour and it has a strong smell of stinky egg🤢🤢🤢. We asked the owner if the food had a problem, he just told us that he just made it. The eggs tasted like he has made them few days ago and he just gave these to our customers!🤢🤢 I feel so sorry for people who has eaten in his place. Moreover, he only receives cash and Wechat payment. The purpose is so obvious: he doesn’t want to pay tax, which is absolutely against the rules and I should have the responsibility to report his behaviour to CRA. I will do that asap and CRA will definately stop his business. I’m not the person who likes to give bad review, but I really had the most disgusting experience in my life. Located in side President Plaza, to the left off the escalator and free 1 hour parking in the plaza. People mentioned the cleanness and attitude of the chef. Hey soon as I decide to eat here: the #1 is the taste and how authentic the foods. Not the cleanest nor the best service in town but it really taste like it is straight from China. Reasonable price: $10-12 for a combo. Cash only unless you have Wechat pay or Ali-pay. For a food court food it is actually better than I expected. Would I come back again? Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. The staff (possibly the owner) literally tossed my change onto the counter even though I was holding out my hand. Then, after touching money, he went straight to prepare food without washing his hands or putting on gloves.
