Came here for the first time today with my husband and dog and the food did not disappoint! Usually i dont order salmon burgers, but this time I did, while my husband got the classic cheeseburger.

It was delicious!! The salmon burgers they had weren’t those premade patties you usually get at big chain restaurants. She uses salmon fillets! So flavourful and filling!

The classic cheeseburger was a home run! She handmade the burger patties herself and makes them pretty thick. She also gets the burger buns handmade. You gotta really widen your mouth to get burger in!

The owner is such a sweet woman! She was working the restaurant by herself. We ate outside in the rain (we’re under a roof) bc we had our dog and I was surprised she came out and gave us some tea to keep us warm. After we ate, i went back inside to give the tray and ketchup bottle she lent us. After that she spoke with me about the food she makes and how she does it. The Village Burgery in Steveston, Richmond is a hidden gem that keeps me coming back. I’ve been here multiple times, and every visit is just as satisfying as the last.

This time I went with the Lobster Burger and Salmon Combo. What I love most about this place is that they use real seafood—not patties, but actual pieces of fish or lobster, either sautéed or deep-fried to crispy perfection. The lobster roll was stacked with juicy lobster chunks, fresh slaw, and their signature sauce, all tucked into a soft handmade bun. The salmon was flaky, flavorful, and grilled just right.
