McDonald's — Restaurant in Saint John

Todays is Halloween night. My kids they love chicken nuggets and fries from McDonalds. I went through the window and ordered 2 10 chicken nuggets and 2 large fries and it was around 27.50. I paid for it with my card. I went though the window and employee told me to pull over and wait. Waited 15 minutes, she brought my bag of food and asked her if everything was in the bag and she said yes. As soon as i checked there was only the chicken nuggets. I called out a bit and i said there was no fries. She said she'd bring my fries and she took took the bag inside. Came back after a few minutes with a different bag. I left thinking she put both fries. I got home and we started eating and i asked my kid where's your fries and she said there was only 1 large fries. I said i paid for 2 and called the restaurant. I talked to someone who told me i only paid for one large fries. I told them i paid for 2 with my card and i have proof and they said they'd check. When she checked it she found the order and she said i was right. The fact that they charged me for fries and didnt give them to me and blamed me is unacceptable. She thought i was lying. When i proved it, she was the one lying. I said i'd put this review. When you go to this mcdonalds always check your order because this isnt the first time this has happened. i suggest when you get your food...

As far as McDonalds goes, this is probably the biggest one in the city and has a Playplace for kids. It's a great place with friendly staff... but i HATE the drive-thru.

Ever since they changed it to a 2 lane drive-thru it has been a disaster. Customers cut ahead of lines all the time, sometimes one lane won't take your order for a bit while the other lane takes like 4 people through and all of a sudden you are in the back of the line.

The sign says "order in either line any time of day", but I had a night shift once where I went at 9:30 pm and a person was ordering at one so I went to the other. I waited almost 10 min while the other guy must have been ordering a massive order for a group of people. They took my order after he was done and I still then had to wait while he paid for his huge order. The 2 lane system is supposed to allow quick orders to go through to avoid waiting for big orders, it fails. It also mixes up staff when they give out the wrong order depending who merged back into the pay line after ordering, and once it leaves the window the staff have to remake the order which...

terrible service!

waited in line, for 30 some minutes for our food (at the order place), before getting to our line (which they said they would be right with us) they let 2 cars ahead of us. then when we finally ordered, we pulled up to the window, and waited and extra 10 minutes in that line.

we get to the food window (5 more minutes) and when we go to check, we ordered 2 bacon double burger with only ketchup, and only one of them came with bacon.

cheese burgers, possibly the worst ones i’ve ever put in my blessed, sacred mouth, now i’m scared to eat another one.

fries were cold and bland, and just all around bad. only ate 1 and felt sick to my stomach after that.

all around worst service i’ve ever had. always 100% when i go, but tonight, worst, experience, ever.

but one thing i will add, when i go in to order at the desk, very fast and convenient, the tables are sticky though. food comes out great, and is hot. tonight’s been the only super bad run in i’ve had with...
