Tried to use the drive thru on my PEV as I was running a bit behind and didn't have time for breakfast. Waited at the order speaker saying hello for a solid minute while 2 or 3 vehicles orders were taken at the other side so I rode ahead and waited to get to the window. I tried to make an order and give my money but the lady at the window said she's not allowed to serve me and pointed to a sign that says only registered vehicles are allowed in the drive thru.
I'm curious if they are checking license plates to ensure that vehicles are actually registered or if it is just a symptom of the car-brained culture that only gas burning vehicles are allowed to get their food quickly on the way somewhere. I say this because I'm often ignored at drive thrus in my electric car as they can't hear an engine running and assume there's no one there.
Taking my order would have taken the same exact amount of time to input, prepare and accept payment. I ride on the street with cars and am well aware of the risks. I would not have entered the drive thru if I thought it was unsafe for me to be there.
Bikes, scooters and all kinds of other PEVs (personal electric vehicles) are only going to become more commonplace. They are far cheaper than a car, much more efficient and way better for the environment. I would like to see updated policies in line with the modern development of...
Read moreThe food was fine but the wait time was actually almost 20 minutes of standing there waiting for Two chicken craveables. I watched as they literally served more than 15 people in the drive through before me who were all getting served their sausage English muffins in the drive through but had me waiting for as long as I did was ridiculous, and just as I was getting super agitated someone else who was waiting for 15 minutes complained about the evenings and how it’s ALWAYS slow during the evening then she requested the main cook and he came making excuses and being defensive instead of just assuring I’d get my food and saying he was focusing on both drive through and the front equally and I know damn well that’s wasn’t true and he was talking out of his ass getting overall defensive with the lady who wanted her food legit no customer service experience. Absolutely ridiculous that during a time everyone is getting off work it’s so slow and all the workers saw how long I was standing there he was most certainly not focusing on both that’s for damn sure. Get more workers there!!
Edit: After getting home and actually trying to eat them I noticed they gave me black rotten lettuce in exchange for waiting so long. That’s actually crazy that’s their reaction to someone resisting long as asking for a little speed. Money...
Read moreThis location whenever I come through drive thru, order taker is always mad and rushing you to order. i know they also dont like when people order in 2 separate orders but do you have to be rude all the time? I know customer service work is stressful but you also need to be nice to your customers isn’t it? we are not even being rude or anything to them. then we came to the window and the lady is also rushing us and keep on insisting that we can scan the same rewards to the 2 different orders when we already said that we will not scan for points for the other one to save them the “service time” on their window. she continue to be rude especially when we asked for straw and she said while a little bit away from the window “Oh My God, anything else you need?” we asked for straw couple times and she is not listening then when she heard she will be mad at us? like what the hell is going on with your staff here? i know google review will not be any difference because the managers will just tolerate what is going on and will just let their staff be rude to people who gives their business the money to pay for their employees. i dont usually post or do reviews because i’ve experienced working in food service but the incident has always been the same in...
