Attempted to come here the other day for breakfast without a reservation because the restaurant did not pick up the phone after multiple attempts throughout the day to call to try to make a reservation. When my group and I arrived, it took a few minutes to be greeted, just for the server to tell us that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us without a reservation. After we explained that they did not pick up the phone the previous day, we were met with a half-hearted response. We were not offered any alternatives such as having our group split up into different tables, even though we saw multiple open tables throughout the restaurant. The server did not even give us an estimated wait time, even though they didn’t close for another 3 hours. We were simply turned away and not given an opportunity to dine here. After waiting another few minutes, and no resolution or assistance, my party left and went to Jack's down the street where we had prompt service and a lovely breakfast. So, unless you make a reservation, or are a regular, I wouldn't expect decent service...

This is a very unfair practice for the regular patrons waiting in line, sometimes as far out as the sidewalk. Breakfast diners cater to the patrons AT the restaurant. Patrons don't want to be turned away or stand in line when there are empty tables. Be good to your patrons who show up at your door.....the line up may not...
