Uncomfortable experience. Two of us came here for dinner and are vegetarian. While placing our order we were informed they were out of tofu which resulted in having a more complicated order since we are vegetarian with food allergies. When placing our order the waiter in turn told us the chef would not be happy but he would do his best to make it happen. I wish we had left then. The waiter came back a few minutes later said he put the order in and it will just take a while since they were busy and it was a special order. It felt uncomfortable that the waiter was making a big deal about it so again we should have just gone somewhere else. A little while later we could hear the waiter telling the cooks how we wanted our orders. We were sitting right where the chefs were in plain view and the chef was clearly annoyed. I’ve never wanted to walk out of a restaurant but this definitely made me feel like we shouldn’t be here. Finally our food came and there was meat on one plate and the other was definitely cold and probably just sitting there because the person who had to make the salad was being a jerk about it and probably put off making it because he simply didn’t want to customize it. At this point we had had enough got the burger to go and asked them to remove the salad from the bill. Ended up having to go somewhere else to find another meal to replace the salad since we felt like we were totally inconveniencing the chef. We’ve eaten here before and it’s been ok, not special. I don’t like giving negative reviews but today was one of the worst experiences I’ve had dining out for some time. We arrived at 12.15 intending to be out for a ski lesson at 1.30pm. We got a table straight away and had ordered immediately after the next door table. However as time ticked by after 30 minutes we asked the waitress about the food and got the amazing response it would be about 10 minutes but we should leave if we didn’t want to wait. Shortly after the next door table got their food but ours never came. The waitress very pointedly avoided our table. At about 1.15 we gave up and left. My wife and son wolfed down a sandwich so they could make the lesson the rest of us went elsewhere where mercifully we were served in good time. There are other negative reviews about the timing of food so the restaurant must either know and not care or be unable to get staff. Horrible service . I was so taken back by the pathetic service that I had to call the manager and give her the feedback on face. I was in shock when I called for the manager as she was actually the server doing the horrible service to begin with . Let’s begin- for 4 kids she cared to to only give two drawing sheets and that too without crayons . We had to remind her to provide crayons and drawing sheets for the other two kids. Guess what? She returned after 20 minutes and gave two empty sheets :) well it doesn’t stop here . She comfortably forgot to ask if kids would like to have juice , salad and dessert that was part of the menu . In the end when I gave her this feedback , her excuse was that she dealt with 100 people earlier and we arrived an hour from kitchen being closed . Now I wonder how it’s my mistake ? Maybe you need to close the doors if you are tired . However I must say that she took little responsibility and reduced the bill by half to make us feel...
