Chacha's Tandoor and Grill is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I had the pleasure of dining here recently and was blown away by the flavors, quality, and overall experience.
First and foremost, the Chole Bhature was outstanding. The bhature were perfectly puffed and crispy on the outside, yet soft and airy inside. Paired with the spicy and tangy chole, it was an absolute delight.
Next, I tried the Aloo kulcha with Chole and Paneer kulcha with Chole. Both naans were incredibly soft, with just the right amount of filling. The aloo naan had a wonderful blend of spices, while the paneer naan was creamy and rich. The chole complemented these naans perfectly, making each bite a flavor explosion.
The Chicken Tikka was succulent and juicy, marinated to perfection with a smoky, charred exterior that added a depth of flavor. The Reshmi Kebab was another highlight, with its melt-in-your-mouth texture and delicate seasoning that left me craving more.
Their Butter Chicken was everything you could hope for—creamy, rich, and with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The Goat Curry was equally impressive, featuring tender pieces of goat simmered in a robust, aromatic gravy that was simply irresistible.
And let's not forget the Rumali Roti-soft, thin, and expertly made, it was the perfect vehicle to mop up all the delicious curries.
Chacha's Tandoor and Grill has truly mastered the art of Indian cooking. Each dish is prepared with care and authenticity, providing a culinary experience that transports you straight to the heart of India. The service was attentive and the ambiance warm and inviting. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to indulge in some of the best Indian...

Disappointing Experience at Chacha’s Tandoor and Grill. The Best view while Dine in you ever can get !! We visited Chacha’s Tandoor and Grill today, and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. While the food was okay, the overall ambiance and hygiene were a major letdown. Firstly, they served water to all the other tables in glasses, but for some reason, our table was given plastic cups, which felt cheap and out of place for a sit-down restaurant. The biggest issue, however, was the location of our table—right in front of the toilet. It was incredibly unhygienic and made us uncomfortable throughout our meal. To make things worse, the kitchen entrance shared the same path as the toilet, which raises serious concerns about hygiene. When we brought this up with the manager (a thin, single guy who seemed to be acting more like a manager than actually managing the situation), he made excuses rather than addressing the real issue. He told us we should have requested a different table, but at the time, there was only one table available, so we had no choice. Instead of acknowledging the problem as a hygiene issue, he kept making illogical excuses. When we were paying the bill, he continued to say sorry without offering any form of compensation or genuine concern. It felt like he was blaming us for the situation rather than resolving it. If they really care about customer service, management should consider hiring a real manager who knows how to properly handle customer concerns. Overall, the combination of poor hygiene, inconsistent service, and indifferent management left us disappointed. We won’t be rushing back...
Read moreFirst time here and came because I keep seeing it all over social media. I was pleasantly surprised with the good food but the restaurant wasn’t up to par with the cleanliness.
The food was really good I would come back. We ordered the chicken momos, shaii paneer, chicken kabobs, gol goopa shots and ramali roti which was actually done right. Everything was delicious however the shaai paneer was okay. The first taste is sweet then you taste the spice right after. I felt there was too much cinnamon added. I came because I wanted to try the amritsari roti but they said it’s only available till 3pm each day which is a little confusing on social media as it just says available all days now.
The place itself was surprisingly smaller the. Expected and I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness. The bathroom wasn’t clean or up to par for what a restaurant like that should be. I get people are dirty as the garbage outside the complex is a good indicator of the people in this area who clearly don’t care to keep Surrey clean but they should have the bathrooms clean as it smelled too.
Tables weren’t all wiped down, it was a little confusing as you walk in and the register is right there so you assume it’s order then sit. There’s a lot of staff at the front who are busy with take out orders.
All in all I give it 4.5/5 I’ll be back to try more dishes but hopefully...
