A neat little cafe that specializes in its assortment of creme brulee and belgian waffles. Beware of street parking, however - there's a neighborhood relatively close at the next street over to aid your free parking search, depending on what time of day you swing by. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all which was perfect. We got the ube creme brulee, and an order of the ferrero rocher alongside a few drinks - matcha latte with white chocolate and a chai latte. The creme brulees were done pretty well, considering that I've never tried a ferrero rocher creme brulee! I loved every bite and wish it was bigger! The ube also wasn't too sweet, and had just the right amount of hint to it. Overall the place is narrow, but has some wiggle room. It's cozy, but the tables attached to the seats aren't as accomodating to the creme brulees and drinks. To me, that was the only downside. The ambiance was pretty casual and it seemed very laid back. Owner, and employee were the only ones there that day and both were friendly, approachable and professional. I enjoyed the mood here and would definitely come by to try some other creme brulee flavours.

Only one person can enter at a time. I went on a nice Saturday afternoon and even though I saw a customer coming out of this place, I did not have to wait. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The person answered all my questions about the menu. I ordered a salted caramel crème brûlée, one canelé and one black sesame macaron. All 3 were delicious. I am from France and I was missing crème brûlée and it satisfied my craving. I love that they have a lot of different flavors and Asian ones too. I want to go back and try more. They torch the crème for you. I also love that they have re usable containers and wooden spoons that are environment friendly. You can return your container and save 1$ on your next crème brûlée. More businesses should do that. The canelé was really enjoyable too. Would definitely come back for more. The macaron they have are from Daan go ! So I you live midtown and do to want to go all the way to Kensington market, this is where you can go. They’re super cute looking and super tasty. They also make ice cream.

The food was great. My husband had the dulce de leche creme brulee, and I had a waffle with ice cream. Both were excellent. The service, on the other hand, was not great. The two guys working seemed not to be interested in our being there. Not terribly friendly. We walked in an hour before close saw only one other customer inside, so they didn't appear to be busy. The attitude was really strange and made both my husband and me uncomfortable. Also, the water glasses are bizarrely small. I'm not complaining about this as much as I'm simply scratching my head. Yes, they're refillable, and it's not that much of a burden to walk over to the water station, so it's only a very mild inconvenience, but... Why? What purpose is served by having such tiny water glasses? It was so odd, much like our overall experience here.

Without a doubt, this place has the most delectable, delicious, and irresistible pastries and desserts IN THE CITY. But these terms cannot do them justice. These are no common treats or pedestrian sweets — they are DELICACIES! Truly DIVINE confections!!!

The liege style waffles are INCREDIBLE (made on the coolest waffle irons — the custard stuffed cinnamon churro ones are out of this world!) and only matched by the utterly ASTONISHING crème brûlée! (Of which I am admittedly and ungovernably besotted — each flavour is a new best friend!)

And the bread pudding in a jar! Seriously a taste of heavenly ambrosia on earth. It’s a miracle I haven’t got my face stuck in a jar yet!

And the sorbet and ice cream! Oh my gosh, THE SORBET! THE ICE CREAM! New flavours all the time! 🤩🤩🤩

(I’ve often observed guys purchasing these frozen darlings for their partners, girlfriends, and wives to mark birthdays, anniversaries or Mother’s Day etc., — but they apparently make even better offerings of supplication when seeking forgiveness for blunders of the heart. Gentlemen take note: do NOT make the sinful and UNFORGIVABLE mistake of giving the leftover strawberry rhubarb sorbet to the kids!!! 🤣🤣🤣)

Seriously. It’s a treasure trove of mouthwatering delights here!

🤩🤩🤩

I often bring the cookies — and especially the fabulous canelé! — to share with coworkers and students, and everyone wants to know where they’re from and how to get more, more, more!

I especially recommend the canelé if you have a not-too-sweet tooth. They are disarmingly delightful.

I feel so fortunate that this phenomenal patisserie palace is in my neighborhood.

Seriously. Why are you still reading this? Get...

Good Day!

After hearing rave reviews of the Creme Brûlée here from a friend, we decided to stop by and try it out. We visited the early afternoon of March 4, around 1pm or so.

Anyway, after driving from Etobicoke we were excited to taste test several flavours. When we approached the establishment we were accosted by a surly crossing guard standing out front, yelling at us about one person at a time inside, even though the sign says 1 party at a time. I know he's not an employee or affiliated with your business - but perhaps he should be spoken to not to approach your customers like that.

Secondly when entering, and asking about the menu and options, the person behind the counter barely looked up at us or greeted us, and simply said "The menu is on the wall". Next we asked how much the items were, and he didn't look up and pointed at a sign and said "the prices are there". Right away I just wanted to walk out. I understand we all have bad days and these are trying times, but just felt very unwelcome. We just felt as if we were intruding and interrupting something more important. Furthermore, what if one of us were visually impaired or couldn't read? Perhaps there is a reason why someone is asking about the menu? Please be mindful of that.

You guys have plenty of good reviews and our friend loves your shop. We just wanted to offer feedback based on our personal experience in the hopes that you can use it to help make things even better for...

the Bakery items were great, I actually enjoyed the almond croissant. But the drinks were meh, no design on latte and taste pretty mediocre. No seating and not even a great visual for viewing the Bakery items, the person serving wasn't even enthusiastic about mentioning the name of items as we couldn't see them all (it didnt have card name written either so we had no option than asking what is what) Overall, wont visit again.

I understand that most of the good reviews are from delivery apps, which they normally dont get exposed to the service in store.

Added this section after the fabulous respond I got from the owner :) Also changed my review to 1 star, wont visit again and will be mentioning my experience to my friends. While everywhere in town are charging similar prices for better design and quality. If you think Latte is simply Espresso and milk, well maybe you also dont respect your own craft either. Mr. Passive aggressive, I walked in around 6 PM. BTW, you dont get to be rude when you are getting paid for your service. At the end of the day, this is your chosen job not mine. I haven't harassed you nor wrote a untrue comment. I am entitled to my...
