This place has high prices but low service. So today I ordered a smoothie bowl and they had to make a detour to get the actual bowl which isn't bad in and of itself but it gets worse. The one I ordered was supposed to have kiwi on it as a topping but the guy never put any on it. I told him right away about this but he didn't seem to understand and just said "yes kiwi". There were no kiwis on or in the food. Then he handed me the spoon when he wasn't wearing a glove with his fingers rubbing all over the bowl part of the spoon instead of holding it from the handle. As if I wanted to taste his fingers instead of the food. I had to use a metal spoon to avoid this. Actually it probably would have been better if I tasted that instead because the smoothie bowl tasted bad and not fresh and I had to throw it out. People might say places like this lose business because Canadians don't like health but it's really because they're horrible at being a restaurant. Read moreThrough Uber Eats, I ordered the “3 Marketplace Salads” option and selected Broccoli & Cranberry, Greek Bowtie Pasta, and California Quinoa, expecting (reasonably) three separate salads. Instead, all three were sloppily dumped into one bowl and mixed together. Nowhere in the listing does it say this is how it would be served.
When I called the store, I was told, “That’s how we do it.” Really? If I ordered three sandwiches, would they just mash them into one? If I ordered three soups, would they pour them all into the same bowl?
There’s no disclaimer that the salads would be combined. The menu clearly makes it sound like you’re getting a trio — not a tossed-together tangle of conflicting textures and flavours. If this is actually their process, it needs to be clearly disclosed. Otherwise, it feels misleading and lazy.
If I could give less than one star, I would — especially given how rude and dismissive the store rep was.

The salmon pieces in the culture bowls were dry and hard. The Baja Chicken Ciabatta sandwich did NOT have what was supposed to be inside - and was a wrap, instead of a sandwich. Their phone line was not in service. The online order indicated pick up time at 12:54 pm and when I got there, the staff were not aware of any order made online. Technical issues much?!? The Prosciutto and Brie sandwich had ONE THIN slice of brie and three slices of prosciutto. This is an $8.39 sandwich?!?
