I emailed them directly, hoping I didn't have to leave this review, but there has been no follow-up. Before this experience, I was excited about all the good things I had heard about Happy Burger and told my colleagues how this place was one of the top burger places in the city and up there with Burger Drops for weeks. (they all tried Burger Drops and Rosies and were excited there was a spot close by our office) We finally had a chance to go and place the order below (as you can see at 12:38), and we arrived a little before 1. My colleague also placed an order at the same time and got his food immediately; they then asked for my name and never said anything, and I just thought it wasn't ready yet. We told our colleague he should have a bite of his sandwich so he could at least have it fresh, but he decided to wait because it shouldn't be long as we ordered it simultaneously. We waited and waited, and there was nothing said to us, so we were just being patient; we get it; things can happen, or it could be busy, but there were about 2 to 3 other customers who came after, and they got their combos before us. Again, as we were waiting, nothing was said to us, nor was there any reassurance of when it would be ready or even an apology for the wait. Finally, around 1:15, we were handed our order and then finally an apology for the delay. Again, I understand things happen, but for my colleague to get his food immediately makes it harder to understand. The breaking point was that once we got back to the office, we realized we did not get the sauces that were supposed to come with the combo. Sadly, due to this experience, I feel like I have lied to my colleagues as they no longer trust my opinion, and even after all that waiting, we couldn't even enjoy the combo we ordered as it did not come with everything, even after waiting 20 + minutes and preordering 20 minutes earlier.

Save your hard-earned money and go to Burger Drops, Rosies, Harry's Charbroiled, Mattys Patty, Burger Jabs, or even...

For months, I've been staging my own personal mystery: why is this place always as empty as a library during a power outage? Today, I cracked the case in the most unfortunate way possible. It turns out, those who dare to dine in risk facing a fate worse than a B-list horror movie – starving to death! I'd suggest a change of name to "Hunger Games Diner" because it's a real fight for survival in there.

And here's a genius idea: why not swap out those tables and chairs, which are clearly just there for show? They're hogging space that could be better used for a dance floor or a mini roller coaster – anything more exciting than waiting for a burger like it's the grand finale of a reality show.

During my epic 20-minute solo adventure in the restaurant, I waited for a burger like I was auditioning for a role in a drama about patience. But alas, my growling stomach declared an uprising, and I had to abort the mission. To add a sprinkle of absurdity to the mix, the so-called "manager" couldn't muster up an ounce of sympathy. Instead, they showered me with sarcastic thanks for my failed attempt at sustenance. Bravo, folks, bravo!

In the interest of avoiding a sequel to this tragic comedy, I'd recommend a serious revamp of your dine-in strategy. Maybe throw in a clown or a magician to entertain those patiently waiting for their meals. Until then, my taste buds and I are off to find a restaurant that doesn't moonlight as a hunger-induced haunted house. Cheers to dining adventures that don't leave you questioning your...

First time trying happy burger today and this is a lovely spot for a good burger. We tried a few different dishes and were quite happy with what we got.

I started with the simple cheese burger with a single patty. The first thing that stands out is how well the patty is smashed and crisped up quite well. The toppings here are fresh and the potato bun is fresh and delicious.

What really stood out to me is that this did not feel like a greasy burger. It was seasoned just right - it did not feel like a fast food burger, which is a nice feeling.

The veggie burger was good. My gf did note that for the price there wasn't much more here than similar burgers at cheaper prices elsewhere. However the bun and veggies were still good.

The Cajun waffle fries were a little bit of a let down. They were a tad cold which wasn't ideal but not a big deal. However the Cajun seasoning is quite salty. It's a good seasoning in terms of spice but we couldn't taste potato with the salt.

To finish off we had the banana pudding. This was the highlight of the meal. There are layers of banana, soaked wafers and a delicious cream to make a tiramisu style dessert. It is fabulous. It is quite sweet and rich so sharing one was more than enough. Absolutely delicious.

Overall this is a solid burger spot. No frills just a solid tasting burger. I would recommend giving happy burger a try if you're...

Happy Burger delivers on its promise of a joyful dining experience with every bite. Nestled in a cozy corner of downtown, this burger joint stands out with its vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The decor is playful yet stylish, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and fun night outs. The menu is delightfully diverse, featuring classic beef burgers alongside innovative options like the "Sunshine Veggie Delight" and the "Spicy Avocado Crunch." Each burger is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. The beef patties are juicy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by fresh vegetables and unique sauces. For those looking for something different, the chicken and fish sandwiches are equally impressive. Happy Burger also excels in its sides and extras. The crispy, golden fries are a must-try, especially when paired with their signature dipping sauces. Milkshake lovers will be in heaven with their rich, creamy shakes in a variety of flavors. Service at Happy Burger is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and portion sizes offered. Whether you're a burger aficionado or just looking for a great meal, Happy Burger is sure to leave you satisfied and smiling.

I’ve been a loyal customer since the place first opened, but honestly, the quality and value have really gone downhill. The burgers are still great no complaints there so the price makes sense for those. But the chicken bites? Way too small for what they cost. It literally looked like they took half a chicken breast, then cut that half into tiny little pieces, and charged $9.95 for it. Definitely not worth it and kind of feels like a rip-off. The fries were another disappointment. They weren’t waffle fries like before they were broken, overcooked, and cold. Some pieces were so hard they could actually scrape your mouth, and most were just fry ends, not full fries. I remember when the owner or manager used to be around, and the food actually had a certain level of quality and care. You could tell they took pride in what they served. Now it just feels like they’ve let things slide, and the portions don’t match the price anymore. For $9.95, I could’ve gone to Popeyes and got two full pieces of chicken instead of a handful of tiny bites. Really disappointed to say this, but as of today, I won’t be spending my money at any Happy Burger restaurant again. The value and standards just aren’t what they used to be.
