This is how it went down, scene 1/Act 1-drive thru order, “I will have a double Angus with cheese and bacon combo please, frings instead of fries”, - Scene 2/Act 2- Drive Thru Window- “Would you like ketchup in the bag?” , “Yes please, I quickly responded back, thinking, ‘what a great worker-so attentive and I am sure under valued.’
Fast forward, 15 minutes distant arriving back at the job site still reminiscing about how awesome she was to even suggest Ketchup in the bag. Yet wait! Removing the contents of the bag revealed a shocking surprise, I searched in the bag, under the bag and all the way around the bag, no dang Ketchup. But wait! There’s more to this true tale of woe and deception as the anger sharks began to emerge from the depths only to swarm in a frenzy even more so as it was next discovered, the burger was far from being a double burger-perhaps some twisted ninja clown snatched it between the cooktop and the bagging part of the operation? Or maybe just maybe the girl has such a short term memory, she perhaps forgot after a few seconds whilst taking the order? Or, me no english well?Who really knows the answers to these questions? My educated guess would be, they don’t really listen to the customer or care-systemic not as rare as you might think.
The good news is, I will never have to return to that location and lesson learned whilst in Canada-home of high standard education-check the contents prior to driving off from a drive thru, in fact-Take your time doing so-Thanks Harvey’s for making my day special and ruining my lunch. I will return to E.U, and tell many in my village this tale and it shall be recited in bedtime stories and many generations will recount till it...
Read moreAll Harvey's are great! This one in particular always provides stellar service and communication. It's probably one of the reasons me and my family keep coming back. In fact it's usually the first place we come back to if we've ever left the country. It's just something that's quick and easy, and always taste amazing.
My favourite is a standard cheeseburger, or the double angus burger 🍔 with cheese and bacon. By the time I've loaded all the ingredients I'm there it's pretty thick. So, I get the pickles on the side. If you're not getting the frings you're missing out. As it's the best of both worlds. An assortment of fries and onion rings. 🌰 🍟
If you haven't tried the deep fried pickles you probably should! It's a wonderful little appetizer to wet your whistle.
This is one of the few fast food restaurants that sells fountain pop Dr. Pepper and 7 UP. Don't get me excited. Am I right.
You will either like Harvey's of just plain love Harvey's. I'm in the love the flavour trian of the Canadian grade A Beef. It's something I've been enjoying for over 25 years. My only harp is there isn't enough of these established throughout the Downtown core. But if youre in the Greater Toronto Area there should...
Read moreJessica, Mark & Franz provide excellent service. Great place. They are always pleasant to deal with. UPDATE #1 customer service at this location is the best. Mark is exceptional. He makes your visits memorable. UPDATE #2 QUALITY at this harveys has gone down hill. I have visited this location a couple hundred times in my life, no exaggeration. The burgers don't look like the photos. They put the cheese underneath the burgers and sauce in between the vegetables. This leads to a new taste and your veggies slidding out of your burger. I'd recommend going to any other harveys or the a&w next door. It's weird when you go to this harveys sandwiched are made different than in the pictures or any other harveys. When I requested a burger liek in the pictures I was disappointed with Jessica lied to me aying that's how harveys burgers have always been made. I have been here hundreds of times. The Manger needs to learn about quality control. My burgers recently look nothing like the pictures and taste worse. A simple thing like layering a sandwich changes its flavors. Untill this is corrected I am changing my review from...
