Honeymoon Dessert — Restaurant in Toronto

Menu is very extensive. It just depends on what you’re looking for. You can get dessert, drinks, or food. When we came we were the only ones there, so the place was clean. Service was good and helpful. We got mango milk custard, mango pomelo soup & bean curd, pear with chuen pui tea, and ube almond latte. Prices were standard for what we got. We’re from the US, so when we convert the prices back to USD, it’s about the same. Dessert portion sizes are not like tiny. As you can see in my picture, they put a lot of mango on my milk custard. It was very flavorful. Custard consistency was smooth and slightly thick. Mango pomelo soup and bean curd was delicious. They also put in ample amount of mango into this one. Both of the drinks were hot, they had pleasing aromas to them. They’re both very good for drinking on a cold day. Those sizes are big...

Food is good. Got the sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken. The fries were a bit too sweet and were coated in some type of sugar. The popcorn chicken was good but too salty. Would've been better if it wasn't so salty. I wish the menu was more detailed about the food items, like how the sweet potago fries had a sugar seasoning, or what the ninja crispy chicken is. The visuals for food items on the menu should also be labeled with their corresponding food item for clarity.

Service was good, very friendly server that brought the food to our table. Gave us a ketchup bottle when we asked for condiments very cool. Free lemon water refills in cute cups inside the restaurant.

Decor could be better, doesnt't feel very cozy. The lighting was cool toned, the yellow ceiling tiles are a bit tacky, and the music was a bit loud to have casual...

I used to come office twice a week. This is my go to place for lunch. I have tried so many restaurants near my office but didn't like them that much. I didn't like them maybe they are not my cup of tea. My usual order here is bento box with chicken as meat. You have different other options too. I once bought my colleagues here they are different type of salad bowls . They are pretty good too. I would say it is quite good restaurant with affordable prices. Service is also very good. Everytime I come to the restaurant I will see the same waitress. One day I would like to see the waitress face and know her name because she always wears mask 😅. Last but not least I like their ice tea so refreshing.Today,Nov 14th I saw her face first time. Looks beautiful. Maybe I will talk to her next time....
