I've always wanted to try this place and when my family wanted to throw a bbq, I decided to order some lao frozen sausages from them since i heard great things about them.

I preordered on the phone for 5 orders of their frozen sausages in the early afternoon just to make sure that they would have them in stock when I picked them up around 9pm in the evening. They took my name and phone number and told me they will have them set aside for me. Tell me why when I went to pick up the order they told me they don't sell them by 4s but by a case of 27s. I showed them their online website and how you can order 4 frozen sausages for $10 and they simply replied with no you can only order it by the case not by 4s. I was so confused and I asked them if it was their mistake and if I needed to buy them by the case why didn't they call me to inform me? They literally had 8 hours to call me and tell me i can only buy them by case - but they didn't. Instead they made me drive 40 mins there to tell me no. They didn't even give me an alternate solutions. It's either 27 or nothing even though it was their mistake. I even asked for thawed ones and they wouldn't sell them to me.

This was truly a disappointing experience especially when a restaurant couldn't honour their mistake.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were served by a lovely employee. We also got to meet the owner, Lits, she’s great and so welcoming! Now, let’s talk about the food. I’m obsessed with Laotian food, and let me say, this did not disappoint. The flavours were on point, salt and spice levels were done to perfection. Sticky rice was made perfectly, the fried chicken was juicy and so flavourful, the Laotian sausage was the best I’ve had, thinking about their curry makes my mouth water, and their Thai tea is so refreshing with a nice sweet element to contrast with the salty flavours of the food. The sauces that accompanied everything were AMAZING! The Jeow Som and Jeow Bong surpassed my expectations; I would come back just for their traditional sauces alone. Thank you for the amazing service, the smiles, the hospitality, and of course the delicious and authentic Laotian eats. Will DEFINITELY be back and will recommend this place to all my...

WOW! TREAT YOURSELF AND COME HERE! I learned about Lao-Thai last week on a food tour led by Aashim of @seed.eat.repeat. It was our first stop on the tour and I was blown away. We had the Nam Khao (spicy, crispy coconut rice) and Souk Gai (spicy, clear, herbal soup) and they were exceptional. So good, in fact, that I went back a week later to order the same thing again as takeout. I haven’t had a meal that overwhelmingly tasty in a while. The soup was such a surprise - a flavour blast despite having a clear broth base. The coconut rice was so satisfying. In both cases I got vegetarian versions. Spicy food gives me hiccups (#whiteperson) but it was so worth it for this outrageously delicious meal. Do yourself a favour and make this your next...

Cozy little place, not much seating but it seems their big thing is takeout. Ordered the Chicken and Fried rice, which was a flavour combination I didnt know I was missing in my life: juicy boneless chicken, deep fried perfectly with nice crispy skin, paired with savoury fried rice crisped up in a wok. Oh my god it's unreal how good this is. Couldnt even finish everything there was so much food. Also had a Thai Iced Coffee which was just like I've had in Bangkok. Staff was super friendly and seemed familiar with the regulars. Give it a try, not many Laotian restaurants in the city.

Cute little family owned restaurant. Loved every dish we tried. The Kua Lon (vermicelli noodle with chicken) was my favourite. We got it spicy and it definitely did not disappoint. The Nam Kao was a first for me. As someone who does not like coconut, I was surprised at how something I usually associate with Pina Coladas or Bounty can taste so good in savoury form. Definitely a very pronounced coconut flavour but delicious nevertheless. Last was the chicken fried rice which was essentially fried chicken on a bed of fried rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted great.
