Bit of a burger fanatic here & while the burger & cheese bacon fries combo wasn’t disappointing it also wasn’t something to write home about. I do like to be quite the critique when explaining things. The photo almost seems a little sad standalone. I know Ops has only been open for a month & I don’t want to tarnish the business leaving a 2/3 star. I’ll give them a month or two before I revisit and leave a more final review. First off great ambience, love the neon signs, decor & windows, + the open doors to the street is a great touch. It’s quite nice when eating - 5/5 stars there forsure. Went with the egg n avocado burger. It was about $25 without tip for the burger, cheesy bacon fries & a pop. I guess it’s standard for toronto? The egg didn’t come runny which we asked about & realized we’d need to specify asking for a sunny side up egg vs a cooked egg. The taste of the burger overall was phenomenal, it’s a standard smash burger very thin & extra crispy on the edges. Not sure if i’m a fan of the bun to meat ratio though. I think for the price it could / should be a bit thicker or the option to have a double patty as it is quite thin. Was also a fan of their sauce paired with the burger. When paying the extra $8.50 for the cheesy bacon fries you’d expect a more real feel to the cheese, I’d also think paying a good chunk - the container could be a little more full of fries / bacon. Wasn’t the biggest fan of this style of fries because of this. I just feel as a newer business things have gotta be a little bigger and better, thicker patties & filling the fries goes a long way in bringing returning customers - especially for the prices. Service was great though, hope nothing but the best for Ops! Definitely a close competitor to Rosie’s nearby. I’ll be back in a few months to leave a more finalized review.

Tucked away on Queen Street West, OPS Burger & Bar is the kind of spot you’d want to keep all to yourself: a hidden gem full of flavour, fun, and fry-slinging goodness. However, we aren’t here to gatekeep, so here goes! The cheeseburger was everything a smashburger should be—crispy edges, melty cheese, and packed with flavour. But the chicken burger might’ve stolen the spotlight: insanely crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. It had us full-on doing a happy dance with every bite. The vibe? Super casual, super cool. We sipped on a margarita (from their surprisingly big cocktail list!) and a cold beer, but you’ll find everything from fruity mixes to strong classics on their bar menu. And while burgers are the star, they’ve got fries, hot dogs, chicken rice, and even chocolate and banana puddings to round out your meal. Whether you're craving something sweet or salty, crunchy or creamy, they’ve got you. ✨ To hear more about this review, CHECK US OUT on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, & LinkedIn.

Tucked behind a nondescript entrance marked only by a red neon burger sign with a bite out of it, this spot is easy to miss — I almost walked right by. I was a bit hesitant at first (arriving after 1pm and being told I was the first customer of the day didn't help), but I'm glad I stepped in. Opened recently on May 15, the place has a casually elegant vibe and very friendly service. I ordered the Ops Burger. The patty was on the thinner side, but the flavor was excellent and the bun held everything together nicely. Fries were generous and well done. What set the experience apart was the atmosphere when I came in…. dreamy lounge vocals playing softly while rain tapped the windows made me feel like I’d stumbled into a quiet corner on the Mediterranean coast. A hidden gem worth finding.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Toronto – Ops Burger Delivers Big Time!

I can’t say enough good things about Ops Burger. Tucked away in downtown Toronto, this place completely exceeded my expectations. I came in curious and left completely hooked—especially thanks to their mushroom burger, which is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. The patty was juicy and perfectly seasoned, topped with a generous helping of rich, sautéed mushrooms that added an incredible depth of flavor. Everything was balanced—the cheese, the fresh toppings, and that perfectly toasted bun. It’s the kind of burger that feels gourmet without trying too hard.

But the real surprise? Their wet burger—a nod to traditional street-style burgers that’s rare to find done this well. It’s saucy, savory, a little messy (in the best way), and packed with bold, nostalgic flavor. The garlic-tomato sauce hits just right, and the bun soaks it all in without turning into a soggy mess. This is comfort food at its finest.

The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about what they do, and the service was quick even during the lunch rush. Ops Burger is a standout in Toronto’s burger scene—I’ll...
