My recent dining experience at habibz corner was nothing short of exceptional. From their mouthwatering butter chicken poutine to a variety of other delectable items, this place truly exceeded my expectations.
Let's start with the star of the show, the butter chicken poutine. It was a tantalizing fusion of flavors and textures. The crispy fries were smothered in a velvety, aromatic butter chicken sauce that was both savory and slightly spicy. Each bite was a harmonious blend of comfort food and exotic flavors, leaving my taste buds in pure bliss.
But habibz corner doesn't stop at poutine; they offer a diverse menu.their other items were equally outstanding. This restaurant has something for everyone.
The service at was top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served, adding a personal touch to our dining experience.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or even a casual night out with friends.
In summary, this restaurant is a gem that delivers not only the best butter chicken poutine I've ever tasted but also a diverse and delicious menu that will leave you coming back for more. Don't miss the chance to savor the incredible flavors at this hidden gem. It's a five-star dining experience through...
Read moreSo we took a day trip to Toronto from Michigan and as we were getting ready to leave Toronto Tuesday evening I was looking for a halal place to eat and Habibz Corner came up with very high rating. Why, I don't understand?! Firstly the atmosphere was very dirty and there were stools with metal tables coming out from the walls so it's not a family friendly place at all more so for people that want to eat and are on the go! I ordered the gorilla fries which was not good at all and it had a tangy after taste with not enough meat. I ordered the buffalo wings which was mediocre. I ordered the chicken with rice platter which was edible but not good. The picture displayed it had a little salad with it but it didn't come with it and when I asked the young lady who took my order she didn't understand what lettuce was to the point I had to pull up a picture from my phone to show her. Than she finally did give me some salad and had the nerves to charge me $4.00 for it when some should've already came with the platter. I ordered the chop cheese sandwich with fries. It was good but there was very little portion of beef in there where I had to throw out half of the bread. That was the only thing we enjoyed. Good luck with parking too and the traffic in that area was atrocious! You're better off going...
Read moreMy friends and I came here after seeing how highly rated it was. Habibz did not disappoint!
I had the double double burger which is a double smashed patty burger that came with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and sauces. The sauces were really good, probably overpowered the burger but I wasn't complaining. I ordered the combo, it came out to $16 flat with fries and a can of pop. For this price, not many places can be this competitive anymore.
My friends had ordered the Gorilla fries ($9), Butter Chicken platter ($16), Jerk Chicken platter ($16), Sweet Chilli Chicken platter ($15). All of which were small platters which consist of rice or fries as your base, and then the protein, and sauces on top.
My friends also got the beef patty, which they did not recommend for $4 after taxes.
The indoor seating is tight with a narrow walkway and bar stool seating on either side. The door doesn't close on its own, so as people come in and out you can feel the cold wind. There's also a bus stop right out front, and some people come inside to wait which made it annoying to having to continuously close the door or suffer the cold wind while attempting to enjoy our food.
Their prices were very fair, and all of us stated we...
