HELL NO. Me and my pals decided to grab a quick bite. We were craving pizza so we decided to come her… worst mistake of my life!! When we got there, the waiter was smoking outside!! He followed us inside the restaurant and took our order. To our surprise, he was also the chef. We came back to our place with a pizza and what we thought was chicken Alfredo. We opened up the pizza and Uhmm.. let’s just say my unborn child could make a better pizza. It was so very thin (and not even in a healthy way). It was ashy, had some black powder all over the bottom, and looked funny. We didn’t think much of it because that’s how authentic pizza looks.. right?? HELL NO GET OUT!!! It was so disgusting!! As soon as you took a bite, all you could taste was a horrible seasoning that DOES NOT belong on pizza!! I can feel my stomach turning as I write this review. Don’t even get me started on the chicken Alfredo. Lord knows what it was. The portion was so tiny for what we payed. It had about 3 pieces of chicken and broccoli. We tried it and OH MY GOSH. If I could go back in time and stop myself from tasting it, I would. I might need therapy to get rid of the taste and memory. Overall this place was very disgusting and shouldn’t even be open. This is a legit review from a very unsatisfied guest!! Please save yourself from this horrible place, you’d be better off starving. If the world was ending and this was the only source of food available, I would be gone. I cannot wait to get on my flight tomorrow so I can get as far away from this place as possible. Please do not eat here.

I visited this location on Thanksgiving Monday. I arrived to find a very cozy restaurant and the server there, Dina was helpful in explaining the menu, and choices available. I ordered the Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza and the Tradizionale Pizza as well as a Coke to drink. One note, is that I requested these items for takeout. While waiting for my order, I sat by the bar area, and looked around and the server Dina and I spoke a bit about the restaurant and the menu items. The restaurant is open 24/7 and is right by the Rogers Centre, and surrounded by a few high end hotels. Their menu is available thru QR codes that are on the tables, and they offer a wide assortment of items. Starters, Salads, Wraps, Pasta, Pizza, Calzone's, Sides, and a number of Beers, Martini's, Cocktails, Wine, Desserts and Coffee. This is a wonderful restaurant for the late night munchies after going clubbing, after a Toronto Blue Jays game, or if you're staying at the nearby hotels and want something for lunch, dinner, or late late night, and even for breakfast =) When I received the pizza, I was very happy to note that both the Tradizionale and Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza were made very nicely, tasted very good and I would definitely return to order pizza here at Pizza Rustica! There's plenty of both interior and outdoor patio table space available, however with the cooler weather, most folks would prefer the interior dining area.

Earlier when my friends went there I heard he (owner-big old guy) had passed racist comments on Indians on how messy they are without manners and all. He kept on criticizing Indians and passed racist comments. Then I went with my friends yesterday we entered the store and I guess it was that old guy, welcomed us but the way he did felt little odd. Then we sat down and were chilling. He came to get the order and my friend leaned a bit on the chair to give the order since he was little away and then the tone in which he said "don't do that with my chair, you'll break my chair" and that moment we were like okay what happened. He could have just mentioned politely too that be careful but it just felt racist again. Then our mood was like let's take away the pizza and eat at home. While we were checking out this guy wanted to make up and was like this pizza won't be enough for you guys I think you should get more. I host Bollywood parties if you want to join t hen I can give you free entry, you'll like it, etc. And we left. No apologies nothing. 0 customer service. Pathetic experience. Pizza was okay felt little under cooked but the vibe was 0. Will never be going there again.

This place deserves nothing but negative stars. My friends and I ate at this establishment post Blue Jays game for a friend’s birthday. Upon arrival to our reservation, our table was not set up, dirty and the waiters looked lost and confused.

Once being seated, we were advised that the wait for food would be roughly an hour which we were okay with, however we did not realize that everything else would also be a lengthy wait. Our server failed to provide us with the most basic things for our table. We had to request for water on several occasions and it took about 30 minutes for our waiter to bring us a pitcher of water. It then took an additional 10 minutes to request for the waiter to provide us with cups to drink the water which is absolutely ridiculous. We also had to request for utensils, napkins and plates.

After the lengthy wait, we received our food. It was very poor quality for the price. The chicken was like rubber and tasted gross. A Delissio Pizza is much better for a fraction of the price. It is also important to mention that this restaurant has no AC and on a hot summer night was boiling. The restaurant also had multiple flies everywhere.

Towards the end of the evening when everyone was ready to pay their bills, the already terrible experience turned into an absolute ** show. The waiter messed up everybody's bills and then was trying to blame our group for the confusion. As a server, it is your responsibility to keep tabs on everyone's orders. If you have poor organizational skills that is on you not on your customers. It is important to note that at this time, the manager and/or owner of the establishment walked in and rather than rectify the situation only made it worse. I have never met someone so condescending and rude. If the waiter made a mistake and there was an issue.. that's fine own up to your mistake and rectify the situation, rather than try put the blame on your customers. The owner then stated that they could not split bills for groups more than 6. This was not once mentioned to our group. It's funny that after our waiter split up all the bills and completely messed them up …. all of a sudden it wasn't unable to be done. It took over hour of going back and forth with the owner and waiter to pay our bills. Our group was also charged 18% gratuity for service that was worse than McDonalds ( which says a lot). We were also charged a mystery debit fee and when asked... no one had an answer as to why it was on the bill. PLEASE SAVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY AND TIME!

This place is open 24 hours, however, should be closed for 24+ to train their staff/management on customer service and quite frankly … on how to be a decent human being. Pizzarustica is a great place...

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had anywhere in my life. It will be tough to top this.

Our visit started fine - but we should have been more scared of the “comedy night” notice on the chalk board. But hey, how bad can it be, we thought, and we’ll probably have gone by the time it starts.

Things started to go wrong right after we ordered. It seemed like there was a problem with the oven and it took 30 minutes to receive the first pizza of our order, which turned up certainly “well done” but still fairly edible. I was the lucky one. Then the restaurant started to get a bit smoky and the concern from the staff suggested something might be wrong.

Then the comedy started, except it never really did. What this consisted of was the most excruciatingly bad “observations” about “white people” and crude jokes about customers appearance or jobs.

The next pizza arrived, 15 minutes after the first, this one borderline inedible with a layer of charcoal on the outside.

The comedy continued to no one’s enjoyment, though the poor customers who had been picked on tried to make their own jokes to keep the mood above entirely abject despair. Everyone desperately wants to leave.

The next pizza arrived, we’re at 3 of 5, this pizza should not have been served to a paying customer, the crust was black and inedible.

The smoke in the restaurant was now at levels dangerous to human health, and the comedians reflections on that situation were at least a very brief respite from their effort to make jokes about “Asian people” or masturbation.

The 4th pizza arrives. 40 minutes after the first. We are on the home stretch. This pizza is as bad as the last one. It’s hard to tell what’s wrong with the oven or if the chefs have no idea what they’re doing.

The smoke in the restaurant is still worse but cruelly there is no fire to consume us all and free us from the comedy.

The comedian by now is reflecting on the state of his life, which sounds more like a plea for help than a source of entertainment and frankly at this point I wish him no good will. We really would all be better off without him.

The fifth pizza arrives, just about edible, 50 minutes after the first one, but at least we will soon be free.

The cost of leaving is a mere $150 with a suggested 30% tip. Funnier joke than anything we heard all night. It was borderline offensive to charge any customer for this experience.

DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO...

Let me start by saying this is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

We had a reservation for 20 people for my best friend’s birthday, which they clearly were not prepared for. We had to wait for multiple tables to be put together for us. We were told the food would be an hr and 30min wait which we were fine with. However, we had to wait 30mins to have our orders taken and receive water. The restaurant itself lacked A/C and is infested with flies.

Now let me start with the food. Absolutely terrible. The toppings for the pizza definitely come frozen. Vegetables taste like they’ve had freezer burn and the chicken taste basically straight out of a box.$9 for a bottle of corona and 3.50 for pop with no refills… amazing.

Next comes the service , that was a nightmare. The server 1. Forgets to mention the 18% gratuity 2. Fails to mention a DEBIT charge of $15… 3. That the party would be ONE bill. All crucial information when hosting a party. She also was taking orders on her phone and messed up the FIRST order she took. When it came time to split the bills, she asked us to help her split the bill… Clearly she was new and inexperience as well as untrained. She was absolutely flustered and completely messed up the bills. We were charged extra drinks and food that we didn’t even order. We were given three bills that were split terribly and asked to etransfer the differences among each other… The owners walk in at the same time and provide us with the worst explanations for these extra charges and mistakes. Rather than ask us what the problem is ,they would ask the manager why we had separate bills . The manager who was also present before the owners came in was no help to the server and provided her with no assistance. My friends and I have all worked in restaurants as either servers or managers and have never seen a more sorry excuse for a restaurant as this. The owners claim they were doing us a favour by splitting the bill and apparently no where downtown splits the bill for over 6 people… yeah right.

The owners failed to own up to the mistakes made by their staff and made zero effort in rectifying them. If I could rate this place lower than a zero I would.

I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. Get yourself a walk in pizza before you even consider this horrendous excuse of a...
