Siempre Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Toronto

Here’s my personal review of Siempre Breakfast & Lunch based on my visit today, Sunday, June 16, around 1 PM.

The ambiance was welcoming and spacious, with plenty of tables and seating available. Staff across the board were approachable, polite, and visibly enjoyed what they were doing. It was refreshing to see everyone smiling and engaging warmly with guests.

The food selection was varied enough for breakfast and brunch lovers. Prices were about average for the area, and portion sizes ranged from standard to slightly generous. Service was very efficient. Our meals arrived in under 10 minutes. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-prepared.

We ordered an iced Americano, vanilla hazelnut iced coffee, strawberry Nutella French toast, and sausage with eggs. The total bill came to CAD$81.31 after tax.

Now, I want to take a moment to sincerely highlight the exceptional experience I had with two staff members in particular — Julia (Yulia) and Diksha.

Julia (Yulia) was our server, and she was kind, patient, and cheerful throughout. I was having trouble deciding what to order, but she waited patiently with a smile and made me feel comfortable, never rushed. Her positive attitude elevated our whole dining experience.

A small accident happened where I spilled my coffee across the table, my food, and the floor. I asked for help, and Diksha immediately came over with calm professionalism and a kind smile. She quickly cleaned everything while checking if I was okay, offering help and reassurance in such a thoughtful way.

When Julia (Yulia) returned, she went above and beyond. Even though the spill was my fault, she apologized and offered to replace my meal and drink. She promised the new order would be ready in under five minutes, and she delivered on that. She also checked if I wanted anything else and reassured me that her priority was for us to enjoy the meal and leave happy.

Thanks to Julia, Diksha, and the chef who prepared the replacement so quickly, what could have been an embarrassing moment turned into a really touching example of genuine hospitality.

To top it all off, as we were exiting after our meal, all the servers smiled warmly and greeted us goodbye. Each farewell felt sincere, and the smiles were genuine. It was incredibly refreshing to experience this level of care and hospitality from start to end.

I can objectively recommend Siempre Breakfast & Lunch for its quality food, quick service, and warm, welcoming atmosphere — but what truly made our visit memorable was the genuine care shown by the entire team. Julia and Diksha went above and beyond, and their kindness left a lasting impression. That said, every staff member we encountered contributed to a consistently positive experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It’s pretty rare to stumble upon a restaurant and receive SUCH GREAT SERVICE & FOOD!

The overall restaurant has a cute feminine chic vibe. Personally for the music I feel like it didn’t tie well with the space since it was mostly old radio hits playing (but that’s more of a personal preference perhaps).

Everything else was beyond expectations!

Originally we were seating in front of the steps by the window. I noticed there was a table available in the upper level and was waiting for our waitress to come back so I can make a request.

Another waitress noticed me glancing at the table patiently waiting. It was like she already knew what I was thinking about and offered to move us before I even said a word.

I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE!!

The waitress who ended up serving us is Jamie. She answered all my questions and provided me personal suggestions based off me explaining to her what I was feeling for.

Me and boyfriend likes to switch our food after eating half. But once I took my first bite, I really didn’t want to share my plate anymore…

I ordered the eggs Benedict with crispy chicken. My boyfriend ordered eggs Benedict with salmon. Each plate comes with potatoes and fruit which is amazing!

BOTH ARE SO GOOD!!

My first bite was unreal. The chicken was so unbelievably juicy exploding your mouth with flavour. 10/10

The salmon eggs Benedict was also good (but imo I really liked the fried chicken more).

Definitely will be coming back when the opportunity presents itself again because my boyfriend and I were looking to try their steak Benedict’s.

First breakfast of the year…was ok. We went there day after new year for late breakfast brunch with my brother. They were very busy so I’m not too upset about the wait. We sat down at 11:30, server came to our table and we gave order right away at 11:45. And then we waited for our coffees at 12:20 and our food at 12:30. So whole a lot of waiting. we requested multigrain on two of the plates, we got white bread on one of them and saying that they mistakenly put served you that if you like I can change it... I worked as in restaurant business almost a decade, as server, you check your plates before you bring them out and even if you miss something your response is not if you like I can change it, should be “im so sorry, you can keep that, I will bring you your multigrain as well.”Usually server would come and ask if we’d like another bread no? we asked if we could add peppers Inside two of our omelettes. Server added it and did not mention for adding small shreds of pepper they charge $2 per omelette. I mean if I knew it’s extra $2 charge pet topping I’d pass it. In what world it’s that much for shreds of pepper that you can hardly see it. That’s huge rip off. I’d accept it if it was within cents. Anyway. And the food really wasn’t impressive. Blow the average quality of your normal cheap breakfast place. And I promise you, there are way better options around the area for the price range.
