Saigonpai 2 — Restaurant in Toronto

Went during their opening weekend as we were walking by. We ordered 4 dishes total including the pad Thai and khao soi, which we were very passionate about and I will say that each dish surpassed expectations. I asked for spicy pad Thai and it wasn't as spicy as I hope though the sriracha made it all good though the server said said it wasn't that and brought out some Thai chilis for me which I must say was great and spicy. I really appreciated him doing this for me. They had a large selection of vegan options which was great for one of my friends which she said was great. The portions were so large that none of us could finish it in one meal and took it to go. For reference I usually finish my food when eating out but there was enough food for another meal left over. They had large portions for very good prices and the food tasted great. I would definitely go again and very happy that they chose to open their second location close to my house with their first location being on parliament which I learned about after talking to the server. A couple side notes took a little long for them to take our order but no excessively so and the not all the tables had napkins on them. Other than those very minor things I have no complaints and look forward to eating...

Super delicious food!!! New gem found in the middle of East China Town. Their bbq pork banh mi is the best i ever had in Toronto! Came back to try more stuff on the menu today and their vermicelli bowl is so yummy and so huge for a fair price. Tried the Vietnamese coffee for the first time as a recommendation by the waitress and totally in love with it. Service was fast and friendly. Can’t be more excited to come back and try all their menu!!!

Update: just convinced my friend to order food from this place on Ubereats and so disappointed. Lids not fully closed and the whole Bo Kho soup spilled, which soaked the golden bags. Only Tomyum soup bowl is edible but they didn’t follow the instruction. We asked for no any onions, but still gave us a bunch of red and green onion. Whole package looks messy and no cutlery was given even though we chose to include cutlery.
