I ordered the burger priest combo. The fries were scraps. I was very disappointed in the quality of the fries. It was like crumbs. I ordered extra sauce and mayo and he did not put extra of either. The attitude of the cook seemed very anti social and very judgemental. I didn't get good vibes from him. The cashier was having trouble redeeming my virtual ultimate dining gift card. It took 3 people to figure it out. I didn't feel like this was a welcoming restaurant. The cashier was polite but the facial expressions of the cook overshadowed that. That cook really needs done training in customer service. I remember thinking, how did he even get hired. I remember when I went to a different location, the service was the opposite of this location. I won't go back to this location. The food was good but I felt that I should have been treated better.

THE SMALLEST Burger in Toronto. Me and my wife ordered the Low Priest and The Blue Steel on Skip the Dishes as a treat dinner and boy, what an unpleasant surprise! First of all, the burger was extremely small, my wife’s burger did not have the add on mushroom she had ordered and mine had almost NO Blue Cheese. Not to mention the extremely thinly cut onions and unseasoned burger. We were literally still hungry after we finished and we aren’t even junkies. We felt actually disrespected as the total cost was way too high for what was delivered. Maybe they were trying to save money as it was ordered through an app (and they pay commission to it). These guys brag themselves of being burger specialists. Well, I would choose McDonalds 10x over this.

Our group ordered a bacon double cheeseburger, a Californian classic burger with bacon, and fries with gravy. Bacon double cheeseburger was ok. It was really greasy but i think that is unavoidable. The meat tasted fresh which is good. The Californian burger was messy overall. Meat was good as well and toppings were tasteful. Fries were annoying to eat as they were really short and most were the edges of the potatoe. If you buy them be sure to get a fork. 2020-5-28: Ordered two single bacon cheeseburgers and a poutine. Order was a bit cold. Poutine was good. Burger meat was chewy. Maybe due to cartilage.

Edit: Upset they never responded to my email or review when it was highly detailed. However, they seem to respond to most other 1 star reviews. Not ok. Hurtful as I was a loyal customer for a long time. Upsetting they don’t value that.

The burger was really like falling apart. Like hard to get a grip on and extremely messy too. Not what I was expecting.

I got a Cali Style, Holy Smokes with everything plus bacon done jarge style.

When it’s messy and falling apart you have to race to eat the thing so it doesn’t disintegrate. That kinda takes away from the enjoyment.

The bun was especially problematic… it was kinda stuck to the packing the burger came in. When I tried to unstick it I thought I did it right. But, I definitely think I ate some packaging which is kinda upsetting. Probably, because I was racing to eat it. Not great from a safety standpoint.

I wish they would switch to a different wrapper. Boxes like McDonalds would be nice.

I get that customization and toppings might be the issue… but it’s hard to know what will result in the “wrong” type of burger unless you a seasoned eater of the menu.

Also, I was made me the wrong shake (ordered root beer and got vanilla)… which is really disappointing as it was the thing I made the order for.

I’ve been eating Burger’s Priest since they only had one store in the beaches. Back then my dad and I would drive extremely far to eat there. At one point I ordered weekly. I’ve usually had good experiences. Though the last time....around two years ago I found it mediocre. It’s been awhile since my last order.

I may give another try as I really loved the Riggs & Murtaugh shake. The grilled cheese bun thing was cool. If I try again I’ll opt for the least customization possible.

I emailed these sentiments to the company two weeks ago and never heard back. So they also lose points for poor...

As a somewhat regular visitor since its opening, my journey with Burger Priest has been nothing short of a heavenly delight. The burgers are always a divine treat, and the fries, though not crispy, have their unique charm that complements the meal perfectly.

Just today, I indulged in their burger and fries, and it was spectacular as usual. The burger was a succulent masterpiece, bursting with flavors, while the fries had that satisfying good taste that I've come to love. What elevates Burger Priest above the rest is their incredible staff. The amiable lady from the Philippines at the cashier was a ray of sunshine, welcoming me with a genuine smile. In the kitchen, the adept black lady who was the chef masterfully crafted each meal with care and skill. Their teamwork was exemplary, creating an atmosphere that's as inviting as it is efficient.

I can't praise Burger Priest enough for their consistently outstanding food and service. A big cheer for them! Anyone who hasn't yet experienced their burgers and fries is truly missing out on...
