Lahore Tikka House on Gerrard Street is one of the most iconic spots in Toronto for authentic Pakistani cuisine, and it never fails to deliver. From the moment you sit down, the aroma of fresh spices and grilled meats lets you know you’re in for a real treat. The colorful patio adds to the lively vibe, making it a perfect place to enjoy flavorful food with family and friends.

We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the chicken tikka leg, which came out hot from the tandoor – smoky, juicy, and bursting with spice. The chicken kebabs were tender and perfectly seasoned, pairing beautifully with warm, fluffy naan. The chicken biryani was outstanding – fragrant, layered with flavor, and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. The highlight for me was the chicken karahi, a classic Pakistani dish rich in flavor, with its spicy, tangy gravy that begged to be scooped up with naan.

To finish off, we tried their kulfi, a creamy and refreshing dessert that perfectly balanced the bold flavors of the meal.

People are pretty generous with the review stars. The food was alright. I ate the Chicken Tikka Wrap. Having eaten many of these from the Lahore restaurant i was surprised at bothe the size of the sandwich and the flavour. In short, much smaller and a bit heavy on the cumin, particularly in the side sauce.

Anyhow, the food and flavour are only part of a review for this review site. Starting with the atmosphere, there isn't a dirtier, less maintained corner of this entire neighborhood. The property is historically strewn with litter. Both on the Gerrard street side and the grassy patch along Highfield.are filthy with food and food packaging waste. Not only is it unsightly, but encourages rats and raccoons in the area. Nobody would offer 5 stars for the atmosphere here. Awful.

The servers were nice guys, but maybe they could encourage the property owner to clean up their property once a week. Or every morning? Their restaurant was part of the greater problem when...

Tikka Toronto delivers an outstanding culinary experience with its mouth-watering dishes, especially Veg Pulao, best one till whatever I had from many different restaurants, made from fresh, high-quality ingredients that burst with flavour in every bite, the red sauce is best if you are a lover of spice like me. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide excellent service, making you feel welcome and appreciated. The vibrant and Lahore vibe atmosphere enhances the overall dining experience, making it a perfect spot for a quick, delicious meal.
