Location Location Location, and this Tim Horton is located in probably in the best part of Toronto. Love the location, however, people running this Tim Hortons are not the best and Tim Horton should revoke their Franchise ownership. I will explain step-by-step what exactly happened this morning.
Time was about 9am, a long line up of customers, ONLY 3 people working inside (I am sure owner wants to save money on the employees, that's fine and understandable), there are people who are placing Mobile pickup orders (fundamentally flawed process really.. when people see a long line up, they take out their phones and place an order and get served right away.. what a shame and abuse of the system by "smart" people at the expense of people waiting in the line.. ).. So after about 10 minutes, our turn came (ordered: two small coffees with one cream each, one blueberry muffin and one sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and one ice cap), the bill was about $12+.. The cashier never asked if I wanted a receipt or not (what a disgrace for Tim Hortons that they cannot mandate all their franchisees to offer customers a receipt.. This allows customers to see if their order is correct and I believe its their right to get a receipt.. period. Please get this FIXED ASAP)..
Once we placed the order, the service was quick. Since Ice cap was in a plastic see through cup, I was able to see the level of cold coffee in it, and it was about 3-4 inches less than the brim. When I complained to the lady that she charged the full amount and therefore, she should have also given us a full cup (again folks, I am not asking for anything that is filled up to the brim), she showed me a marking that she was supposed to fill-in the coffee up to etc... What a disgrace? rather than filling up to the right level (whatever appears to be the right level), she wanted to show me what the right level was..
Anyways, we came out and sat on a table to enjoy our breakfast.. And with no surprise, it happened again.. The coffee in one of the cups was not even full (Please see the uploaded picture.. I did not drink a sip - you will have to trust me on it) , and most importantly, it was NOT one cream but more than ONE cream (TH: what's going on guys with your franchise.. Please give your franchisee to people who know how a coffee must be served.. They are putting cream that is meant for medium size cup into a small size cup.. please give me a break.. this happens too often because of lack of common sense and training and any supervision by Tim Hortons Corporate Training staff); the cream cheese was not enough for the Bagel and Cream Cheese combo (like how I used to enjoy in good olden days.. These guys are skimping on everything).. It seems the sheer Greed is taking over from Tim Hortons and it's not the same coffee shop...

Read moreThe beverage and donut section at the front is a great idea. If all you want is a drink you can get it pretty quickly. Even if the line is long they are really efficient and you get served within a few minutes.
I once had my order mixed up inside though. I don't eat there much and on that day they made something else, and some lady took it and left. Then her order came to me and I explained that it was not mine. They corrected the problem, and I got what I wanted.
The staff need training on how to make iced capps, or the machine needs tuning or both! I used to get my iced capp across the street at RBC, then when they opened this Tim's I started going there. I didn't think much of it at first, but I kept trying back and forth. The Tim's at RBC get it right every time; well mixed, and the right amount of slush so that it is neither too liquid nor too icy. I would strongly recommend the HHOF Tim's guys go check out how the Tim's across the street do it. Even the one down at Wellington just east of Yonge make an iced capp that is not too bad compared to theirs. Until that is fixed I am sticking with...
