This location doesn't deserve one star. If I could only give zero star so all customers will be warned. I walked into the Tim Hortons #1873 (4 Lebovic Ave, Scarborough, On) location on September 30, 2021, 7:55am and SALMA, one of the team members got my order of one large coffee double double. She handed the coffee to me and I was about to ask for a coffee sleeve but she already left the counter. I was trying to get her attention or the other team members but no one was paying attention to me and all team members were just chatting with each other.
Finally, Salma saw me and approached me at the counter. I asked for a cardboard sleeve for my coffee but she refused to give me one and in verbatim she told me "we are not giving coffee sleeves because it's only large double double coffee!" I was surprised and asked again for a cardboard coffee sleeve and even explained to her that I will be walking to work and the coffee cup is hot. She reiterated and in a loud, almost like yelling voice she told me that they were not giving out coffee sleeves because it was only a large double double coffee!
I frequent this location almost everyday for my morning coffee before going to work but this was the first time a team member treated me like this. SALMA was so rude and raised her voice at me. No customer should ever be treated the way I was treated that day.
I am hoping that JASIM, the Store Manager of that establishment will do something about their "policy" of not giving out cardboard coffee sleeves if the customer only bought a large double double coffee.
I am never going back to this location since that day. I rather go to Starbucks right across their location or walk to McDonalds inside Walmart Eglinton for my...
Read moreWorst Tim’s I’ve ever been to. For the past year, most notably in winter, people (bums), hang around the drive through at the order box to harass customers for change while they’re ordering. Going as far as commenting on orders and getting angry if no money is given to them. When the staff are told they wave you off and ignore you. Nothings done and the experience is uncomfortable and upsetting.
I went to get a coffee for me and my fiancé Thursday morning March 16, 2023 and ordered a French vanilla and a vanilla latte. They said okay. Drove up to the window and paid. Not a second layer after paying they say pull up behind the back of the building next to a dumpster. I said no as this was odd and I hadn’t even received my order. They started arguing saying I had to go. I said no again. There was already someone parked there as well so there was no where to pull up. This isn’t like McDonald’s with the numbered spots. It was a dumpster at the back in a creepy out of site location. After I said no again and that I’d rather just prefer to have my coffee first before driving off, her face changes (gets angry) and she says. Fine no French vanilla then. Okay, so you just did that on purpose to be rude. So I asked for a refund. She did not refund me she instead took a handful of change from the register (I paid credit, I like to be reimbursed the same way I paid) and she threw the change at my fiancé without counting it. Extremely rude. I have never been treated like this in my decades of going to Tim’s. This was the last straw. It’s been rude service like this over and over again for the past year and I’m done trying to be polite when there’s no customer...
Read moreThis morning I ordered two breakfast sandwich combos, and timbits through Tim Hortons App. for delivery from this location. After opening the unopened bag all I received was two coffees, and two hashbrowns. No breakfast sandwiches. No timbits. So I tried to call the store. No one answered. I tried multiple times. Same thing. No one answered. So I decided to visit the store with the delivery bag and inquire about my missing items. The older woman with the unibrow, glasses, and the bindi on her forehead accused me of stealing the sandwiches and the timbits from the bag. After inquiring further, it was brought to my attention that it was forgotten from the order, and yet I was still accused of stealing from my own order that I had delivered, and had to drive to the store to inquire. No apologies to me was given. Ridiculous customer service, especially the disgusting old woman with the unibrow, glasses and bindi on her forehead that doesn't care about her customers. Shame on you for treating your customers like this. Perhaps the bindi is where you are suppose to swat with a wooden spoon to knock some customer common sense into her. Will never return to this location. This location needs to be boycotted. If you want missing items from your order and want to be accused of theft, than this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are better Tim Horton locations elsewhere in the city that offers the customer service that we all deserve and expect. Issue has been submitted to Tim...
