Initially having a Tim's here was a great idea. Especially for the community living near the hospital, whereas the closest one next to this one was all the way down by the Danforth, a much busier location that isn't as accessible for seniors and those requiring assisted mobility. That said, the service here has been mediocre, to horrific. The wait times are far too long, they tend to run out of key food items frequently so most that is advertised on screen is no longer available, or takes longer to make due to them not having the ingredient ready at the time of order. Plus there have been 3 incidents where I was shortchanged at this location...and don't get me started on how many times they got my order wrong. This location really needs to take serious consideration on how limited the breaks hospital employees have, while dealing with their constant problems and mistakes. That goes for visitors and patients too. They've been there long enough to realize this, yet keep failing. 😒 Just to add to this: now in post covid, it's understandable if supplies are not as plentiful. That said, what else is not as plentiful are customers. That however doesn't mean you should be running out of food or supplies so quickly. I was there earlier yesterday around 11am , asking for one of their breakfast sandwiches. They tell me they are out of eggs so most of the breakfast menu items are not available. I ask instead for a sandwich from their lunch menu, I was informed again that due to a limited amount of ingredients, some of sandwiches are aldo not available. At this point I simply ask "well what exactly do you have?" The answer, a few bagels. 😑 How is it that it's not even noon, and you barely have anything on your menu??...
Read moreEdited to add: The Espresso mashine has been broken for at least a week now and when I commented on it this morning the response was "no one came to fix it yet"... ok great... For a very high volume extra busy hospital Tim's location...it's kind of essential to have Espresso available for all us extra tired healthcare workers... so I hope it's fixed soon...
Original review: Extra busy location. I know the staff try their best, but the pick up order waiting area is always very congested, I think the layout should gave been different somehow to have better flow. They always get my order right, the food is good, no skimping on cream cheese on my bagel like some other locations do. So no complaints there. My main issue is that this Tim's that doesn't have sesame seed bagels for some odd reason. I have been asking for one for months and they never have, i though they were always out till i was told they just dont carry it, no idea why. I though maybe some of the staff are allergic to it, but then remebered that the everything bagel has sesame seeds on it.. so i know it's not the reason. I just can't tollerate the onions and poppy seeds on the everything bagel.. and really wish they had...
Read moreTerrible terrible Tim Hortons. Poor selection of baked goods. This location stops preparing food 2 hours prior to closing - they refuse to make anything grilled, toasted, and all of the soup is gone. This is totally unacceptable and unnecessary. The food quality is incredibly poor at this location. There are many people who require their services in the evening/night as there is a very poor selection of food vendors available. Their baked goods are not decorated/ prepared to standard, they’re small in size, cookies are always over baked and burnt. Very very slow service, especially in the afternoon/evening. This location is not up to Tim Hortons cleanliness standards. Frequently broken equipment - i.e. smoothie machine, latte machine. Incredibly slow staff, frequently rude, speaking in their own language right in front customers, ignoring us. This location STILL hasn’t learned when the hospital staff switch shifts...they routinely have their staff on breaks during these times, leaving customers waiting in long lines, intruding into the hospital employees work time. New management is in order - the majority of Tim Hortons workers have an incredibly low...
