So, I'm a big sucker for Momos, be it anytime, anywhere, I can have Momos you wake me up at 3 in the morning, and I will have it. Yesterday was my Bday, and my husband and I started the day pretty late, so we reached Yeti around 4 pm. The ambience was pretty good, so after looking at the menu, we ordered a Momo Platter, Yeti Special Thukpa and a Coke. when I saw the order, I was like, WOW, so on the platter, you can choose steamed or fried or both basically, u can mix and match with the meat, too; I loved the fried more than the steamed as I felt the steamed momo could be softer from the outside, the outer covering was a bit hard to bite. moving on to the Thukpa, I have tried the authentic Thukpa back in India however, this did not take as I expected it to, but I altered it by adding sauces; however, when I asked for more sauce, the guy who looked like the owner of the restaurant gave us in a very tiny bowl and just 1, but on the other hand there were two girls from his hometown #Nepal when she asked he handed over the entire bottle to them so here I felt a bit discriminated I agree who will take care of your culture people more, but customer needs to be treated equally. Overall, it was a good experience. To end with I think they should improve on their cutlery because having a soupy dish is not possible with the...
Read moreFirst time having Himalayan food and this was great food at a great price. I forgot to take a pic of the food before plating but this pic shows one plate and I could have plated 3-4 of the same.
Ordered the fried beef momos, the chicken noodles and the chilli chicken. The momos were full and had hints of Indian and Chinese seasoning. I would get them again. The noodles were packed in the container and had lots of pieces of chicken and fresh vegetables. The flavour was mild and while I would like a bit more flavour they were really nice. The chilli chicken visually in the container had the least amount of food as it’s 2/3 chicken and the rest was rice. But this dish had the most flavour of them all and was excellent. Only criticism would be there was too much onion and many pieces were big chunks of it.
These three dishes which are enough to feed 4 came to 40 dollars with tax which is good for the area.
I’d love them to do a lunch special as I would be a regular customer.
This place is a great addition to the area and worth...
Read moreI'm an out of towner and found this place 100% based on reviews on Google. We had two momo platters (beef, chicken, and veg), one steamed and the other fried, and mango Lassi to drink.
We were served by the super friendly Nepalese owner/staff person who gave us suggestions, delicious food and 100% made us feel like long time friends. We enjoyed our meal with him playing some guitar in the kitchen.
The place is cozy but clean and it smelt delightful walking in at the end of a day of exploring.
Feeling hungry? Eat some momos. Want to know what a bundle of love and care taste like? Eat some momos. Want to feel slightly decadent? Eat some fried momos. Want to up your momo game? Sauce them up with the achar sauce and eat the momos.
No lie, this place was great. Would 100% come back. In fact, it'd be just great if Yeti Kitchen would just move to my hometown. I'd become more...
