I should only give 1 star 🌟 but food are some delicious and acceptable here , but lady owner not very honest and aggressive ,
they weight the BBQ meats before they chop and with containers and basically you pay $12 a pound for container , and when they chop the meat they steal from you some meat , that’s why they boarded area around chopping high so you can’t see they left some meat there , they steal the meat to make fried rice and sell chopped BBQ in the tray , pandemic really make people cheat more to earn more money because food cost high ,
after they chop the meat they poured sauce in the meat if you scale it won’t show the weight lost , maybe better buy and chop it at home , they are very clever they weight the BBQ meat before they chopping it that how they can steal with high boarding around you cannot see to avoid tell them scale after chopped or just avoid buying from very dishonest people ,
T&T couple dollars more they reset the scale with the box basically free box and they chop the BBQ meat with all clear see through glass
Lian Hong closed on Monday all the chicken and BBQ meat they refrigerator and sell on Tuesday won’t be fresh avoid to buy Tuesday morning afternoon will get fresh food , food cost expensive nowadays but keep the food refrigerated over 2 days to sell it isn’t very right bacteria will grow health department should come every Tuesday morning check out the food , very unethically business practice this owner
some older reviews said the meats is not fresh , of course not because they closed on Monday and any BBQ meats and chicken they refrigerated and sell on Tuesday, Others fast food restaurants they just reduce price and clear them out
They should be more honest remove high boarding and stop stealing meat from people it’s illegal to steal need to alert authorities to investigate the store , they will be caught one day , T&T and others store scale...

On July 30, 2025, my wife, mother-in-law, and I each ordered lunch from this place while in the area for an appointment. All I can say is—WOW, WOW, WOW! The food was excellent—tasty, fresh, and piping hot. This is Chinese cuisine at its best.
We live in downtown Vancouver, but we’d gladly make the trip again just to enjoy this food. The portions were incredibly generous—my wife and I each got two full meals from our orders, and my 86-year-old mother-in-law got three! We all ordered different dishes, and everything was delicious. I even requested three chicken drumlets (which were large and meaty) and was pleasantly surprised that they only charged an extra $1.50. For comparison, wings at a bar usually cost $1 each—this was fantastic value.
The thick noodles brought back memories of when I lived in Beijing 40 years ago—authentic and comforting.
Now, the place itself isn’t fancy, and there’s no indoor seating. But that’s part of its charm—this is authentic, no-frills takeout at its finest. If you want to eat your food right away, there’s a lovely spot across the street with picnic tables and umbrellas—perfect for a quick, relaxed meal.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the serving area was very clean and hygienic. There’s also a huge selection of dishes—something for everyone.
Highly recommended. This is our new go-to spot for...
Read moreWhen its fresh, the food is fantastic and an excellent value compared to all the other places in this neighbourhood. My son loves the squid and dim sum items. The prawns, chicken and pork dishes are amazing. I highly recommend it and its super important to support local businesses, but you should know the pricing system is discouraging, especially for young people who have very little cash and get excited about buying something then have to leave without it. I am unclear if its a surcharge on "white-folk", because it doesn't seem to happen to my Asian friends, or what but they always charge us $1-4 more than the menu says and I don't mean the $1 surcharge on fried food/ seafood/bbq, I mean on top of that. We recently had to pay $18 for the three item combo everyone raves about being $10.99. Today she told me a side-dish-sized container of one item with no rice, which was marked $5.99 on the menu would be $8.50. I totally understand having to charge extra for more expensive ingredients or things that take more preparation, cause more waste etc. but there is a distinct, kind-of smug, stick-it-to-the-man vibe in the way the ladies look at each other when they do it, which I find hurtful. Every time, I swear I won't go back, but the food is...
