Edit : Will not order from here anymore. The food is good but pick up service is terrible and I had so many issues with it. First their website is terrible and doesn't send you any mail or message when order is ready. The first time I ordered I waited for an hour, then called and no one answered. I thought that maybe they were closed for special reason and orderer something elswere. 3 HOURS LATER, they called me, asking that I pick up my order... I said that I called and everything and asked them to at least call when the order is ready to avoid confusion. Second time, I waited for 30minutes and went there directly (because I thought it was safer) and learned that they never received my order ? And they told me to wait until they call before comming. Third time I ordered, I waited 40minutes for a call. As I did not get any, I called them and they told me my order was ready ? Why is the service that bad ? Why are the rules changing every time I order something ?
Nice small place for sushi The food quality and portion are good, staff is nice. Sadly the place is too small to accommodate groups of people as there...
Read moreCute little spot tucked away on Bute St., just off of Davie St. Came in here and ordered a Box #4 for takeout - salad, your choice of chicken or beef teriyaki (I chose chicken), 2 pieces of tuna & 2 pieces of salmon sashimi and a dynamite roll with a miso soup for $17.80 after tax. For what you get the price is very reasonable! The size of the sashimi was a decent size and tasted fresh. The salad had a really nice tasting dressing and the dynamite roll was as it should have tasted. The chicken teriyaki could have used more sauce, but still had a nice taste to it, the only complaint would be that some of the rice was a bit undercooked, but it wasn't enough to deter me from finishing my meal. The service was great and it didn't take very long for my order to be prepared. I'd come here again to try more items...
Read moreI didn't expect to find such a delicious sushi place in Davis Village! The prices are very reasonable, and although the shop is small, you can feel the chef's dedication in every piece of sushi. No wonder it's called "Okami Sushi" – each piece is incredibly tasty!
Today we ordered the Deep Fried Cream Cheese Prawn Roll, Futomaki, House Roll, Rainbow Roll, Pacific Ocean Roll and Salmon Oshi, and they were all super delicious! My friends and I enjoyed every bite. Special thanks to the chef for creatively shaping the wasabi into a leaf 🍃 – such a unique touch😂. If you visit this area, you must try this sushi place.
Whether it's the taste of the sushi or the overall experience, everything leaves a deep impression. The care and creativity of this small shop make you want to come...
