I recently visited Pallet in Vancouver for breakfast, and it was an experience worth sharing. Located in the heart of the city, Pallet offers a cozy yet modern ambiance that immediately makes you feel welcomed. The décor is stylish, with warm wood accents and plenty of natural light, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely morning meal.
For breakfast, I opted for the waffles with fresh berries, and they were a delight. The waffles were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while remaining light and fluffy on the inside. They were served warm, with a generous portion of fresh berries that added a burst of flavor and brightness to each bite. The berries were a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, all incredibly fresh and sweet, complementing the waffles beautifully.
The dish was drizzled with just the right amount of maple syrup, allowing the natural sweetness of the berries to shine through without overwhelming the palate. A dollop of whipped cream added a creamy richness, making the waffles indulgent yet balanced.
To accompany the meal, I had a cup of their house coffee, which was nothing short of excellent. Pallet is known for its dedication to high-quality coffee, and it truly shows. The brew was rich and aromatic, with a smooth finish that paired perfectly with the sweetness of the waffles.
The service at Pallet was also noteworthy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that the experience was top-notch from start to finish.
Overall, Pallet offers a fantastic breakfast experience in Vancouver. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s a spot that’s definitely worth checking out. The combination of quality food, excellent coffee, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a standout choice for breakfast or brunch. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreIt's a very spacious place with the normal varieties of coffee, hot chocolate, some bakery (some vegan) and a few options of brunch like sandwich, eggs, etc. I went with my friend to have coffee during brunch time and they tasted really good. When we went the place was not crowded and it felt really cozy inside. The tables are distributed all over the place which gives you the sensation that you can join wherever spot you feel comfortable with. I think this is good now that we do the social distancing stuff. My chocolate was not too sweet and very flavored and my friend's coffee was black roasted with a lot of smell. This is a good option if you want to stop by and enjoy a rich coffee with some muffins or just to hang out with your friends. It's not that pricey and the staff are very kind. We spent a few hours talking and sharing that we were thinking to have a sandwich or something but I believe that will be for the next time we decide to go back which will be soon because we are the kind of people who like to enjoy having coffee in a nice place during...
Read moreVery positive experience. The barista that took my order was so friendly and made sure to put me at a table where there would be room to store the big instrument I was carrying. They were pretty busy but the assigned seating system took the stress out of finding and choosing a place to sit. Nicely designed place, both in terms of aesthetic and the layout, which fits in lots of seating but isn’t cramped. I got the Nordic salmon toast, a walnut chocolate chip cookie, and a rooibos tea. All great! Fresh toppings and tasty dill cream cheese on the toast. The cookie was really really good, soft, buttery, chewy, packed with big chunks of chocolate. The tea, although it was just a regular brewed tea, was particularly nice too. They removed the tea leaves before giving it to me and it was brewed perfectly strong with a deep flavour. The prep time for the food was fast enough that I was in and out in about half an hour. Will probably make a lunch...
