Came here on a whim, settling an indecisive lunch. Lucha Libre is critically under rated, especially when you consider the trash places nearby that have higher ratings. The concept here is kinda goofy -- luchadores matching up against one another in the form of starters, entrees and tacos.

Food 5/5 -- We started with the deep fried tortilla starter, which we ordered with the pepper filling. It was really good, and served in an inception taco style (soft shell on the outside, fried shell on the inside). The pepper filling was super flavorful, and even the gf enjoyed it despite being a carnivore -- while we're on that, they have a lot of filling choices, including FOUR vegetarian options.

For mains I got the Mexican baguette sandwich and babe got three tacos of different flavors. She loves her tacos, exclaiming that they were flavorful and moist.

My sandwich was great. I got the chickpea filling, which complimented the avocado and pico de gallo that were already on the sandwich (there's always a choice of filling for most of the dishes.)

Also, did I mention they have quite a large selection of Mexican beers? I tried Pacifico here for the first time, and really enjoyed it!

Atmosphere 5/5 -- Pretty nice interior and concept. It's a goofy luchadore themed place, and the branding matches perfectly. The menus are all themed as one dish versus another, and they are all cleverly named dishes, such as the Rey Burrito Mysterio (sorry if I'm butchering that).

The decor and presentation of dishes also complement one another seamlessly -- it's Mexican through and through, with bright colors, and lighting. Lots of wood and, and tasteful plastic decor.

Service 5/5 -- The server was a bit green, but very attentive and professional. He offered to explain the menu, made suggestions and kept a close eye on table maintenance — even when they were sold out of the gordita bread, he was quick to check in with replacement options.

Cleanliness 5/5 — This one is an easy 5. The place was totally clean and spotless.

Overall 5/5 — Wasn't expecting much, and expectations were totally blown out of the water. Great food, atmosphere,...

To be honest the food here is very good, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. The reason I’m giving 1 star is because when issues arise it’s understandable BUT it’s how you handle the problem and resolve it is what matters to me most. Not only did I get my order wrong which isn’t the biggest deal but I got a piece of wood in one of my dishes. I came back to the restaurant to show the manager what I found and it just seemed like all these excuses were being made about it and nobody wanted to take accountability. I expressed multiple times that I felt sick and don’t feel like eating anymore he kept trying to offer me food instead of doing the right thing and giving me a refund. It seemed like a game of negotiation for him trying to save the restaurant $40 instead of making sure I came back as a happy customer. After 20 minutes he offered me a dessert which made me upset and not listened too so I told him you know what don’t worry about it and left. It seemed like he didn’t care that we left this problem on the wrong foot and maybe he was happy to not have to loose any money in the present moment. This lack of empathy and accountability has now lost me as a customer and it’s unfortunate because I truly think the place is great with great people working just doesn’t seem that the management is properly equipped with the necessary tools or accountability to ensure issues are resolved promptly and in a...

I went here for dinner with a group of friends. The restaurant is Lucha libre (Mexican wrestler) themed which was unique and fun.

We had the carnitas, carne asada, steak and vegetarian tacos. We also ordered multiple rounds of drinks.

Overall food was good and reasonably priced but not overly memorable. All tacos were served on 4” tortillas. We found that some of the types of tacos are filled better then other (vegetarian and carnitas were better filled then the steak and carne asada).

Each were served with a salsa or a variety of spice levels. We chose mild which was also unremarkable although it’s possible the other ones are better.

We also ordered multiple rounds of cocktails which were good. We ordered doubles but it didn’t taste like they were true doubles.

The service was great and when the staff realized that they had given us the wrong drink they corrected it even though we had not noticed it ourselves, giving us an extra drink on the house. The best cocktail I had was the hibiscus margarita which I really enjoyed.

If you are in the area and looking for a good taco place I would recommend eating here although I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

We arrived at 5 pm on a Wednesday and stayed until 8 pm and there was always at least one or two...

We wanted a “Clamato con cerveza” (like a Bloody Mary, but with beer) and we got one here. It was really good and we also got guacamole, chips and salsas. GREAT GREAT GREAT SALSAS. I love the vibe of the place and the art on the walls.

[2024, Aug 3] We went to Lucha today, a Mexican restaurant. We had nachos with beer and mojito. Everything—from the taste and portion size to the staff—was fantastic. I'm not an expert in Mexican food, but the nachos were delicious, loaded with cheese yet not overwhelming, and full of fresh ingredients. You can even add extra protein if you want to. The environment is so nice and exciting; the decorations make you feel like you're sitting in a Mexican restaurant, at least I felt that way. It's also a great place to take pictures. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely try other dishes next time. Update [January, 2025] This time, I went for the heavyweight bowl with beef brisket and green salsa. It was both nice and delicious. The portion size was just enough for one person, so it’s not really something you can share. Price-wise, it might be a bit steep compared to other Mexican spots, but the presentation made up for it. Taste-wise, nothing felt off—I really enjoyed the fat pieces in the brisket, and the tortilla chips were a nice touch. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
