Park Drive — Restaurant in Vancouver

I thought this was a great addition to the Drive. Cool bar with outdoor space just a couple of doors from our place. We went a couple of times, food was decent, drinks good! When we came on one of their busier nights, a Saturday, we popped by with some friends to get a couple of beers and food. They ran out of most of their food, no big deal, we made it work. But then I went to the bathroom and 10 minutes later the bartender shows up, telling us we need to settle as the kitchen staff reported someone (girl in blue shirt - apparently me- bar was busy) stole fries fromthe pass. He didn’t even ask for our point of view or tried to solve the situation, he basically wanted to kick us out. I asked to speak with the manager, who turned it to be one of the owners, and unfortunately wasn’t capable of sorting the situation in a professional manner either. She didn’t know what was going on, had no hospitality skills to solve the situation or acknowledge that her clearly no-trained staff made a mistake. I’ve worked in hospitality half my life and this is not how you treat your customers especially when you been open for like 2 weeks. We had no reason to steal fries, in fact, we asked to order a lot of food that they didn’t have, that we would have also happily paid for! So sad so see another poorly managed bar, the only good thing about our visit was our actual server who seemed to be the only person fit...

I spent two weeks during the summer in Vancouver and this awesome place was one of my favourite spots to hang out and meet amazing friends and people, the atmosphere is incredible, the music is always on point and if you have luck like me, you can enjoy live music which makes even better your experience there, the service of all the crew is outstanding, they are always checking on you and asking if you need anything else like food or another pint of fine and foamy Guinness beer, everything on the menu is delicious but I highly recommend the burgers specially the Bad mother clucker and the bacon Bad, I want to give an special mention to the tacos 10/10 (I´m mexican) my compliments to the chef! and if you aren´t a beer person don´t worry, you can check it out all the variety of cocktails and drinks that they have on the mixology menu all of them are out of this world, thank y´all for the attentions and for giving me good memories and moments in town, definitely I´ll...

I've been to this place before but this last visit was just sub par. Everything was fine until we got our bills. I get that splitting a bill among a table can be annoying but it shouldn't be so complicated when it needs to be split between 3 people. They charged us for an extra order of fries and an extra order of nachos which we did not order. We only realized this after when we had paid and compared our bills at the table. We brought it up to the server and manager and at first were resistant about accepting their faults. They insisted that the extra 20$ was due to liquor tax...which does not make any sense... (Our bill was 80$ for the table and that just doesn't seem right). They ended up making it right in the end but it would've been better if they listened to their customer in the first place about the issue instead of just...
