I decided to check this place out on aa Saturday afternoon after a friend's recommendation & good reviews on the owner being super friendly & food being amazing. I didnt get to try the food, but just 2 drinks, so I will review on the drinks only today. Possible update on the next visit.
We ordered cold brew vanilla cream & tiramisu latte. The cream topping on both drinks were less sweet than similar drinks that you would get at starbucks, which was a plus. However, the cold brew itself was rather bland compared to other cold brews I had before. Because of that, I liked tiramisu latte more than cold brew vanilla cream.
The inside was surpringsly quiet & cozy, whereas I thought it would be pretty loud & busy located right in front of a busy street. It was quite relaxing while we were there.
I dont know who the owners are exactly, but I had a rather different experience with the service. Considering the numerous reviews commenting on their utmost service, the staff we dealt with provided just a bare minimum service we had, rather subpar. We said thank you as we left, and the lady staff barely said thank you back.
I would visit again to check out their food & other drinks, as well as to check out that their level of service lives up to...
Read moreDelightful delightful place. A quiet environment with soothing music, very clean with tables wiped down after each customer. Customers were mixed in age and ranged from laptop users to families/couples chatting. The man who took my order was very kind. A range of tempting pastries and sandwiches were on display. I chose the butter paneer wrap, a slice of strawberry NY cheesecake, and a strawberry matcha bubble tea. The wrap was huge! The filling was very flavourful, spicy but not extremely "hot". The cheesecake was very dense, which is definitely the right way to do a NY cheesecake but after the paneer wrap it was almost too much for me... that's my own fault for not thinking through what I was ordering. I really liked the strawberry topping, which tasted like homemade strawberry jam with big strawberry slices. The strawberry matcha also was great, it had a nice layer of sweet and vibrant strawberry compote on the bottom, which combined nicely with the unsweetened matcha for a balanced taste. $22 total, which was a good price for a hefty serving of quality food. If I come back, which I'm very tempted to, I will have to try one of their...
