A nice little market. With lots of produce.
Eat your berries quick as they'll go bad in a week in the fridge.
I was disappointed to get home and find my sour dough raisin bread was burnt on top and overly heavy and chewy. My mom loved to make bread so I know the loaf was probably over kneaded. I'll maybe try the other bread maker next time. The almond croissant I got was excellent.
The veggies I got nice except part of the cabbage was bumpy rough with a bug egg. Farther inside the cabbage was fine. Surprised at how small it was and glad to find a smaller cabbage.
I also liked my Chai latte off the food truck.
I was disappointed there were no Cornish hens but the Maple salmon was good.
Edit:
I see people complaining on prices so edited this to mention Farmers Market nutrition coupons, if your over 55, or low income family. I'm not sure if it does disabled too. But there is information online and it tells you where to get them. It's $27/week of coupons. I go every 2 weeks.
They can give up to 16 weeks worth. Which was what happened last year. This year more seniors applied so we only get 8 weeks.
Coupons are $3each and you can use them up to full price but they don't give change so most go under full price and pay some change. The program is great. It helps you eat healthier.
Not all vendors use them. But they cover chicken, fish, beef, eggs, honey, and fruit and veggies.
I couldn't use them at the bread vendor. One fruit stand does sell sour dough. I didn't ask if they accepted coupons for that bread. Usually bread isn't listed on the coupons.
If you don't need the coupons. Please consider becoming a market member and support the program that helps...

Read moreI would like to know if it is on both Saturday and Sunday! We forgot to ask. I recommend walking to get there. Parking is just a big challenge in that area because of residential concentration of families. Booths a so visually appetizing. The food they serve looks so clean and fresh. Bring your own bags for sure. Try to arrive as close to 9:00am if possible. By 10:30 am it's just to busy and crowded to enjoy anything. People make the mistakes of bringing their dog which get in the way of everything. Did I mention the dog park right...
