The donair here is phenomenal. Growing up in a country where shawarma and falafel are culinary staples, I have high standards for Mediterranean food. In and Out Donair exceeded my expectations. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, tender and juicy, especially the beef and lamb. The fresh vegetables and tangy sauces complemented the meat, creating a delightful harmony of flavors that brought back memories of home. The portion sizes are generous for the price.
The atmosphere was clean, casual, and welcoming for a fast food place. While the decor is plain, the cleanliness and orderliness were evident. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which I appreciated given my condition. It’s not often I find a place where I can truly relax and enjoy my meal without feeling self-conscious.
One thing that stood out to me was the variety on the menu. There were plenty of options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic donair, a veggie option, poutine, or something unique, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings. Do not pass on the Afghanistan rice; it is much better than other donair...

The restaurant was clean and tidy. A few people were ahead of me ordering, the staff were very efficient and very welcoming. Parking is available in the back or if you prefer you can park on the street as well.
Food!!! I ordered the Falafel Donair and the In and Out Meat Poutine. I selected lamb for my meat (you can choose beef, chicken or lamb) and grabbed a beverage on the side to wash it down with. Total came to just over $25, plus added tip which came to $30 altogether.
The Falafel was as expected and hit the spot for me. I got it spicy with all the veggies. The poutine was very good, Cavendish coated fries was used. Gravy was smothered on top of the fries, along with cheese curds and sliced lamb. Topped off with a couple of scoops of Tabbouleh to keep it fresh.
Highly recommend and will be coming back to try their other dishes. Go and support a small family...
Read moreOrdered for takeout last night and when I walked in to pick up my food, one of the young staff walked out of what I presume to be the washroom (or storage room) completely BAREFOOTED. He was very casual about it and even smiled at me. That was jarring enough but then he walked back into the kitchen, still with his bare feet, he proceeded to lift his leg over and into THE KITCHEN SINK and washed his foot...one by one. This all happened as I was paying for my food. I was completely in shock and was very close to asking his colleague, the other young and very polite staff that was helping me, what the heck is going on. But I didn't. I was appalled. Maybe it was out of context what I just witnessed...but I can't think of a situation where it is ever ok to be barefooted in a kitchen and serve food and charge people for it. The worst part is that I still ate the chicken poutine and it was freaking...
