Had never heard of this place but stumbled upon it during the light up chinatown festival and decided to give it a try for lunch. Ordered the meatball hoagie and it took about 5 minutes to make. It smelt amazing when it arrived, the bun was super soft, and it was topped with arugula and fresh parmesean. I could tell the meatball was made fresh in house - it was hot, juicy, and the marinara sauce was delicious. If you like spice, there are jalapeƱos on top which give it a good kick. Glad I ate in because the sandwich was big and sauce was dripping out from the other end. The sandwich was about around $20 which I'd consider to be on the high side. However, it does beat a standard meatball marinara sub, so up to you on whether you want to splurge for a fancier sandwich. Didn't realize until I finished and brought my garage to the front that there are daily specials written on the mirror across from the till. Service was mediocre and the genetleman working let me know they do catering and corporate lunches as well.

I always hear good things about this cafe and deli. I was working in the neighborhood so I definitely wanted to try it at least once. I am a type of person who loves to eat hot food for lunch. Sandwiches seem very cold to me, but this sandwich place did not disappoint me at all! šŸ˜‹ I randomly selected one of their sandwiches - Granny Sandwich with finely shaved housemade roast beef, smoked cheddar, RP’s cornichon vinaigrette, leaf lettuce, mayo, Dijonnaise, crispy fried onions. The sandwich was made in house fresh and warm. I ordered takeout, so when I grabbed the sandwich with paper wrap, I could feel the weight. It was heavy full of stuff. Once I opened the paper wrap, I could see a lot of roast beef, lettuce, and lots of crispy fried onions. I ate the whole sandwich quickly. It was really good! I would highly recommend this restaurant to others if you like sandwiches or if you are in the neighbourhood.

Saw a video online about Say Hey so I went asap to the store as I love a good hearty sandwich. The guy who served me at the front and helped suggest a sandwich was super friendly! He told me he had a big order of sandwiches before mine so it may be a bit of a wait, but then he made mine super quick and got it out to me before completing the big order. Thank you for that! I got the ā€œThanks Vickie’sā€ sandwich which includes turkey, stuffing, cranberry, lettuce, mayo and crispy onions. It was delicious ! I got it as a takeaway and ate it at home about 30 mins later and it was not soggy at all. I love the sesame roll it comes on and it’s worth every dollar it costs. Also got the triple chocolate brown butter cookie and that was amazing ! I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu next time I’m in Chinatown ! Definitely check this place out !

Great food but their terrible service will never make me come back. I ordered with friends and the server got a wrong order just for me. Waited around 10 more minutes and people who came after us already got their orders. I asked the server politely and if mine is coming soon and he simply said yes. I was not yelling at him or anything. I simply asked. No apology whatsoever. He came back later and threw the sandwich on to the table and then walked away. At the point I was astonished and I personally don't believe anyone deserved that type of customer service. I then went to him and asked...why he did that and why he seems mad at me, when all I did was asking when my food was coming. He replied back rudely how he does not know what I was talking about. He said sorry in the end, but I see a comment here that some customers got their sandwiches thrown at them. That is not a good thing to...
