Great staff ( owner ) helpful, friendly services. Love their Tropical Plants selections! Worth a trip for some good Tropical Plants at a local store in Chinatown. Check it Out! ( current update ) March 2025. Believe its under new management from previous owners. Services staff is not as same as previous review i had mentioned. Only applies to the previous owners only! Unsure if related change over new owners ( family or relative owners ) but friendly, charisma, helpful services is no longer part of its Bamboo Village 2025! Sad! I am still maintaining my 5 Stars Review which is credited for the Previous Owners ( Retired or Passed on ) really unsure of where its abouts of previous owners since the previous owners ( lady and gentleman ) no longer resides...

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! It's filled to the brim with an exotic variety of healthy plants, home décor and knick-knacks! Every time I'm in the Chinatown/ Gastown area, I make sure to visit Bamboo Village and never leave empty handed. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to the plants they sell. I recently reached out to Bamboo Village on their Instagram for some plant care advice and was blown away by the generous advice I received from Keller (one of the owners) and am grateful for her patience when explaining the details of proper plant care. Great shop! Great owners! I stopped in here and did not expect to leave with so many plants (drove in from Alberta)!!! The shop had a-lot of well maintained plants and a huge selection too. They have a lots of unique pots, with the option for them to drill drainage holes in them per your request. I could of spent hours in this store and cannot wait to go back on my next trip. The staff are very friendly and full of TONS of knowledge. My plants survived the 12HR drive home during the cold winter!!! YOU MUST CHECK...
