Amazing pizza joint for those who love the thin crust style pizzas aka New York style! Ordered 3 delicious pizzas for a pizza night with the fam: Original Pizza, Fresh Pizza and of course a pizza night isn't complete without Hawaiian pizza...Pineapples on pizza forever!!🍍❤️ I usually like my pizza with toppings galore whenever I order at pizza chains...but oddly enough my favorite pizza from Straight Outta Brooklyn was their "Original". Who knew such a minimalist pizza could taste so good. The sauce and the cheese combined with that delicious thin crust was mouth watering good! 🤤 Each slice was also very large, literally just 4 slices per box. Nothing wrong with it since I guess that's how New Yorkers like their pizza - but we decided to cut it further as some of the family members couldn't eat too much. Ordering was easy enough and was done online through their website and picked up at the Robson location. We did have to wait a little bit when we picked it up at the specified time given by the online order because they were still cooking it. Overall this was some decent pizza and the location was also great and accessible. It's not too far from BC Place and Rogers Arena and it was only a 2 minute walk from our hotel. I'll definitely be getting pizza here again next time I'm in town.

Small place with limited seating, 2 sidewalk tables for those who enjoy their slices in the cold weather. Got the original and pepperoni slice, same price for either slice, for those who don't like pepperoni, sorry no discounted price for the original slice Being born and raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn and spending most of my childhood in Chinatown/Little Italy I was hoping their pizza would bring back memories of the 25 cent slices way back when. IMAO, the slices were not bad, there's a constant flow of customers so the pizza doesn't dry out sitting out in the front display counter, they pop the slice in the oven so the crust comes out hot and crunchy. Pizza sauce/ crushed tomatoes have a natural non articial flavor. Cheese is generous and spread evenly. Their sales pitch is the slice is a true NYC "foldable" slice. In Booklyn you fold the slice with the purpose of of letting the excess oil drip out into your napkin, alas, no excess oil, minus 1 star. My true NYC pizza quest continues

Atmosphere – 3/5 Just a small, no-frills pizzeria located in what I believe is Midtown Vancouver. A few tables inside, basic setup. Nothing fancy—it’s exactly what you’d expect from a grab-and-go pizza joint. They also offer bottled and canned drinks, and a few desserts in a cold case. Service – 3/5 Service was average. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming, but they got the job done. My order was taken and served quickly, which I appreciated, but there wasn’t much in the way of hospitality. Food – 4/5 I ordered two slices of pepperoni and a drink. It was a solid New York-style pizza—thin crust, foldable, and satisfying. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely above average and worth the stop if you’re craving a quick, quality slice. Overall This is a good spot for a fast bite of NY-style pizza in downtown Vancouver. Nothing over the top, but dependable and tasty. I’d go back again.

It's a real shame when your favourite places in your neighbourhood let you down. Tonight my partner and I were craving something easy and delicious and immediately decided to hit up Brooklyn since it's our go-to place. We're both swamped with school and work so we figured we'd save time by calling ahead and picking up while we take our dog out for a walk. Unfortunately, when my partner called, their phone went straight to voicemail. We gave it a few minutes and tried again but again went straight to voicemail. Being regulars at the spot, we were aware they were open but gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were just busy so we gave it another few minutes but were once again sent straight to voicemail. This went for about 20 minutes where he would call, then I would call, until we finally decided to just bite the bullet, walk there and prepare to wait for our 2 made-to-order pies thinking it’d only be a maximum of 15 minutes. Upon arrival, my partner lets the person working cash know about our failed called attempts and called their number while speaking to the cashier since they had no idea that their phone was off. The cashier responded by saying they/he’d inform the manager but there was no apology for the inconvenience or any recognition for letting them know. We ordered 2 pizza’s in person at the Robson location at 7:51 PM on March 9th, 2021 and after placing the order we waited outside with our small dog while the pies were being made. We stood outside of the entrance, in clear view of the cashier and made eye contact multiple times while waiting. About 5 other customers came and went with their ready-made individual slices during the time we waited so it was a relatively slow night from what we experienced while waiting. After what seemed like 20 minutes, and noticing the 2 workers were hanging out behind the til, my partner decided to check how much longer they needed. We were baffled when we were met with “did you order a pizza?” by the cook, as he handed over the pizza from behind the counter. Out of irritation and hangriness my partner let it be known that we had been standing outside the entire time waiting for our pizzas (which we paid $42 for, and came on foot for because we enjoy the quality of their pizzas) and that it was ridiculous that neither of the 2 workers didn’t even bother to signal through the window that our food was ready to go. There was no apology for our wasted time, the inconvenience of not being able to call in our order, or for their neglect while we were in clear view of the counter. Our pizzas were handed to us at 8:22 PM so they let us wait for half an hour outside with our dog who was shivering in the cold. Lastly, when we returned home and unboxed our pizzas we were disappointed to see our Paesano pizza, which is the most expensive pizza on their menu, with the crust folded over (picture attached). I normally rave about this place and bring friends and family there all the time but after this experience, I don’t think we'll be returning to the Robson location for the...

The worst Brooklyn’s pizza shop out of all of them. The service is by far way below average. I guess it’s owned by these two low life brothers named frank and Dom that don’t care about quality control or customer service. While I was waiting for my slice to be warmed up at the robson street location, This Latin lady was working there being rude and she was absolutely appalled that the customer before me only left a $2 tip. She was also very rude towards that customer behind their back when he left the store. I was in complete shock. They thought I wasn’t listen because I pretended to be on a phone call. I was floored. Also, come to find out that these two clowns are also the owners of that restaurant Via Tevere Pizzeria on Victoria drive. That makes sense, the Managment and food sucks there as well. There’s a heavy set Italian dark haired lady that’s the manager who is extremely rude and so disrespectful to customers and makes fun of them behind their back as well. It seems to be the standard practice at all their businesses they own as they Continuously do the same thing to most of the customers. Not to mention the poor quality food. It’s hard to believe they are the owners of straight out of Brooklyn pizza because I have been to Brooklyn’s in gastown, Chinatown, and on Kingsway and Fraser and I have had nothing but the best experience in all three of those locations. Not only is the food amazing at those three locations but the staff are super friendly outgoing and make you feel like a part of their Familia. Especially the one on Main Street in Chinatown. STAY AWAY FROM Via Tevere Pizzeria. And the Brooklyn’s PIZZA on Robson St, trust me if you want to throw your money away and have a headache just put your money in a garbage can and eat the trash out of it, at least you would get more a tasty...
