Subject: Urgent Sanitation Complaint – Tim Hortons at Richmond Centre (Final Notice Before Public Health Complaint)
Dear Tim Hortons Management and Franchise Owner,
I am writing with serious concern and deep frustration about the unacceptable sanitary conditions at your Richmond Centre location in Richmond, BC.
Despite multiple prior complaints, no action has been taken to address the appalling state of the men’s washroom and the general cleanliness of the restaurant. The situation has now deteriorated to an uninhabitable level: fleas are visibly crawling across the floors, and the entire facility is filthy, foul-smelling, and extremely unsanitary. The floors appear to have not been properly cleaned or sanitized in years, and the stench inside is intolerable.
This is not only a customer service issue — it is a serious public health violation. As a food-serving establishment, you have a duty to maintain basic hygiene standards to protect your customers and staff. Failing to address this raises major health and safety concerns.
I have attached photo evidence of the conditions for your immediate review. If no action is taken, I will proceed to file formal complaints with the City of Richmond Bylaw & Health Department, Fraser Health Authority, and Tim Hortons Corporate Office. I will also consider making this public if the situation is not resolved.

Read moreYesterday, around 7 pm, I ordered a double-double coffee but received a black coffee instead. When I informed the person who took my order about the mistake, she insisted that the computer screen showed no error in my order and suggested that I should have checked the screen before finalizing my order. I then asked her if she could fix my order by adding 2 spoons of sugar and 2 of cream to my coffee, but she refused. When I requested her name to file a complaint, she declined to give me her name. As a result, I took a picture of her to be able to identify the unprofessional employee who lacked customer service skills and seemed to feel entitled to mistreat customers with no care to provide them with what they wanted. As I left the store, the manager walked by the exit door and opened it, yelling that I should come back to the store and threatening to call the cops because I had taken a picture of the obnoxious employee who took my order. The level of unprofessionalism of these two individuals should never be represented at such businesses. Instead of trying to calm the situation and handle this in a way that doesn’t make everyone uncomfortable, the manager insisted on doing the opposite and made the customer (me) feel uncomfortable with hostile and aggressive behaviour. The reason I leave this review and stat the time+date is to because that this female cashier is worst cashier I ever met. She is way too slow to take order and prepare order. On Sunday, only one cashier and she needs to prepare food….of course she is not happy to work and doesn’t care about the service time. The store operation has problem because Cashiers at the Other 3stores don’t need to prepare drinks and food, so the lineup is moving and customers can sit down while waiting. However, at this store the cashiers need to prepare food so the lineup stop moving. I was in front of muffin case for more than 10min and not move my feet at all. I can finish discussing every single calorie for every item with my friends and found out the lineup is not moving at all. I lined up because it wasn’t too long but the line was not moving and I decided not to come to this store ever again.
