Lazeez Shawarma - A Mixed Experience I recently visited Lazeez Shawarma and unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag, leading me to give them 3 out of 5 stars. While the concept is appealing, several key issues detracted from my enjoyment. My main concern was the chicken. It lacked flavor and tasted like it had been pre-cooked and sitting for a while. The texture was also not what I expect from freshly prepared shawarma. This was a big disappointment, as the chicken is the star of the dish. Another issue was the sauces. While they offered garlic sauce, it was too runny and didn't have the thick, creamy consistency I prefer. They also only offered one type of spicy sauce, which wasn't enough. A good shawarma place should offer at least three levels of spice, catering to different preferences. The fries were also a letdown. The portion size was smaller than I expected, especially considering the price. Finally, and perhaps most frustrating, I ordered the large chicken half and half, and no one informed me that it doesn't include any toppings. I was surprised to find that even a small amount of sauce or a few vegetables incurred an extra charge. This should be made clearer on the menu or by the staff. While the service was generally friendly, these issues with the food itself significantly impacted my overall impression. I was really excited to try the Philly cheesesteak at Lazeez it came highly recommended by a friend, and we’ve both enjoyed many of Lazeez locations in the past.

We walked in at around 2:15 am, well before closing, only to be told by the worker that they couldn’t make it because they’d already cleaned the grill. She said it was “too messy” and didn’t want to make it, even though there were still 45 minutes left before closing.

This was pretty disappointing and confusing. It also made me question the overall freshness if the grill is already shut down so early.

I generally don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this felt like very poor service and a lack of care for customers. Unfortunately, it left a sour taste after looking forward...

for the price for 4 people was more than $60 and the portions were extremely small for the price of the food. The chicken in my shwarma tasted like fish. The flavor were not authentic and the sauce tasted like store brought mayonese, not tangy or tasty either. Chicken was not flavored like Arab food but more like western Italian food. THE FOOD WAS COLD AND WAS SERVED HALF AN HOUR LATER. The staff were laughing and joking infront of the customers eating and THE MUSIC WAS AWFUL!!! THE TABLES WERE NOT CLEAN!!
