Do not go to this restaurant. On May 16th at around 6 PM, my family and I ordered pizza, pasta, and wings to take back to our hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we realized that the pizza was missing a sauce that should have been included. I called the restaurant, but the staff member I spoke to, who seemed to already be aware of the issue, did not apologize. They offered for us to come back and get the sauce or receive a credit, but when I asked if they could deliver it, they said there would be an additional charge without offering a sincere apology. Although I was upset, I decided to pick up the sauce myself since I was hungry and it was only a 10-minute round trip. However, when I got there, the staff member handed me the sauce without any apology.
I was very disappointed as I had fond memories of enjoying their food in the past. As someone who has worked in the service industry for many years, I find this kind of attitude unacceptable. It was especially unpleasant as I wondered if it was an instance of racial discrimination, given that the restaurant was full of white customers and I am Asian. Staff training is urgently needed. Because of this experience, I will not be visiting this location or any other branches again, and I will advise others not to go either. As a family of four, we absolutely love coming here for our monthly family dinner (from out of town too) Our server Caden , blatantly ignored us from the very beginning. It took at least 15 minutes to get our order from us. Then my husband's gingerale tasted like tonic water, so asked for a fresh one. Another 10 minutes goes by and still no sign of our waiter or my husband's drink. Had a busboy deliver our meal without any extra plates or wet wipes either. (We had a large pizza to share between myself and our two kids and my husband had a rack of ribs ) Our server finally came by and noticed, took him another 10 minutes to get what we needed but only gave us the plates. Our eldest son's drink was never refilled and was left ignored on it. We were never checked up on once and had to constantly flag down our server , just to be passed by multiple times. By the end of things, we were extremely flustered and frustrated. While we waited for our bill, our youngest son was falling asleep at the table. So we went to the hostess to file a complaint and all she could do was give us an excuse that our server was "slammed" which was not true. We called early in the day to make reservations for a large group. Despite receiving confirmation in advance, when we arrived, staff could not locate the reservation in their reservation book.
I ordered their spaghetti and meatballs with Bolognese sauce. It was AWFUL. When the dish came out, the plate was full of cold spaghetti, oily tomato sauce, three meatballs partially burned with charcoal on them, and it came with an excessive amount of processed cheddar cheese. There was NO mention of cheddar cheese on the menu.
I informed the server about this poor dish when asked how I liked it. The server herself agreed the dish did not look appetizing at all. She did offer to bring me a replacement serving of the same. The customer service was HORRENDOUS. I then kindly asked the server to take the dish away, paid the full price for it, and left vowing to never return to any Boston Pizza EVER!!!
I hope this location considers my feedback and makes the necessary improvements, otherwise I am certain the this “casual dining restaurant” will not be around for...
